Not sure why the signage says 24 h when it absolutely isn't. But a relatively new and nice ASDA. Café is cheap - but quality variable and they often run out of things. Like eggs at breakfast time and certain Pizzas in the evening.

The only problem with this store is it's entirely possible to spend 3 or more hours here. There is parking eye outside though. I HATE parking eye. It makes more sense to make us pay for a parking ticket then to give us that money off the cafe or the shop. Then people won't park there and leave their car. Parking eye just wants to get money from people and punishes them for shopping too long. But then that means Asda doesn't get as much money. If there were no parking eye I could very happily buy a book, buy meals and drinks in the cafe and eat and read happily then buy my shopping and go but that be like 5 hours. But I'd be spending money in asda. So because Parking eye is there, asda misses out on extra cash. That is why I'm giving it one star. If it got rid of parking eye then I would give this place 5 stars and I'd throw money at this store. I love the store but hate parking eye with a passion. I wish the cafe here did takeaway deliveries. The pizza here is Insanely delicious and cheap. We would order from them often. We prefer the pizza here than any takeaway and that includes pizza hut and dominoes. The only thing that's missing is a mozzarella stuffed crust option. The store is great. It's a good size, it is always clean, the staff are friendly. The staff on the self service tills are a bit distracted though. They chat to each other and don't realise there's a bunch of customers with red flashing lights on their tills waiting for help. The staff on the manned tills are good though. The george section is good.

Good extra place in Altrincham to go to on Sunday mornings. Odd there is already Spring Season clothing on sale in both the men's and women's clothing ranges yet only Mid February and still winter, there is no real big winter coats on sale any more.

Helpful staff but another example of big store trying to cut the price of wages in order to make more profit. There is NEVER enough staff manning the tills so you are forced to either queue for quite a while or use one of the useless self checkout tills. Neither of which are options i personally enjoy.
