I am lost for words. I ordered an online grocery delivery from this store. I have done so multiple times and this is the second time that my delivery did not arrive with no explanation or communication. I have rang customer services 4 times who have tried their best to help. It seems now that there is no one to deliver said order. Despite my Bank account being debited and the order being labelled delivered on my account. I have struggled to contact anyone who can actually resolve my issue. I have had NO contact from the store whatsoever and am chasing my tail. I have advised I can have a refund for my order, but my account will not be debited for 3 to 5 working days. Tell me how this allows me to repurchase groceries if I have no funds to do so. I am Absolutely disgusted with the complete lack of communication and diabolical customer service. I have spent 4 hours chasing this and still no further on. For such a well respected global company, you should be ashamed. I work in the public sector and this would be absolutely unacceptable in my line of work. With technology as advancesld as it is and communication at our finger tips I struggle to understand why such a simple task cannot be carried out.
Such a bad store. It has turned into a warehouse on the shop floor. Pallets left in aisles waiting for staff to stock the shelves, unsafe when having kids or elderly people around, an accident waiting to happen. also reduces the space for people to navigate around each other, food items all over the place and not well thought out, shelves are empty, not enough cash options on self service checkouts, when it first opened it was great but has slowly gone downhill, not a great store or shopping experience. Store manager obviously needs more training in how to run the Altrincham branch.
It is the worst ASDA store in Manchester. Management is mess. I am a Uber eat driver. I got an order for ASDA today. I called the staff over 1X times upon arrival. One of staff confirmed that they are finishing up the order. After waiting for 30min, I called the number again, another staff said the order was not on the system. Just say sorry and hang up. Wastinh my time and money.
The man who was organising the trolleys in the morning 07:00 Tuesday, deserves a promotion! Most kind and positive supermarket employee I have come across.
Time wasters & false promises. This review is on behalf of my younger brother who was invited for an interview for one of the service colleague role. Was interviewed by jack who said they would come pretty quick with a response re the interview. We rang the store to chase over a week later, and got passed back and forth to Reece and Claire several times, considering they are meant to be senior colleagues who are the ones who are meant to be accepting applicants, none of them had any idea on answer for the job. A simply yes or no is all they needed to provide. But they are all excuses. “They need to discuss the interview” “they’re currently busy in meetings and will ring back same morning”. Don’t bother going for an interview for any of these roles.
Very bad experience today I bought an online shop on the 6th which was ok. I got 3 watermelon ice blu vapes and the next day I went to open 1 of the vapes and they put in 1 watermelon and 2 Berry mix so I asked for a refund I was shocked that I got an email to say I wouldn't get 1 so I went to the store and was told basically I was lying about the order which I showed them my online order and demanded an exchange it was very poor customer service and poor online response so I won't be returning to shop there disgrace customer service the staff need training how to speak to people and to have a clear understanding of the problem before speaking out of term about a situation they clearly didnt properly listen too ....so beware that if you buy these products at asda they will just give you what they want not what you pay for ...think before you buy .....
If I could give zero I would. It's getting worse here. They only seem to stock the shelves at night so the shelves become empty and a total mess by 5pm. The signs for where things are in the store are total rubbish and the logic to put certain food items in weird areas makes no sense. For example, why put tomato's next to bananas? Surely they should go next to salad like every other store on the planet. The staff are also never helpful, or even happy to be alive to be honest. A member of staff was late the other night and a supervisor was giving him a stern word on the shop floor in front of me and another staff member. No wonder the staff don't want to uphold asda's values if the management team has no decent people skills to manage a team. The management team needs to be replaced. Edit: 18/06/2024. Standard response to to a review seems to be that it will be logged. Nothing done to remedy any of the negative comments online about this store. Shelves being stacked by staff while having highly inappropriate conversations in ear shot of the public. There are multiple comments on here about unhelpful staff who are chatting away to each other. And to top it off they ran out of carrier bags. How does a supermarket run out of bags if it is run effectively? Again, my comments still stand, the management team in this branch need to find another career.
Used the toilets here whilst I was shopping and was appalled at the state they was in, toilet tissue all over the floor, no toilet tissue in any of the cubicles and even no hand soap. Time of visiting was in the morning. Not good at all.
whenever i go for chips in the cafe they never have them. once i went for chips and they were on break, then 20 minutes later they finally came to the till and told us there were no chips. all i want is my chips
Awfull store'never no one on till they expect go self service. What a joke.we use it least possible may well job there doin self service .be ok got money off but don't.yet save on staff tesco lot better.ok bits that's it....
