Since being totally refurbished this pub has had a chance to be successful. It's food is good. It's a lovely 1930's large pub. However I feel that they will never be as successful as it could be. The staff from my experience although never had any negative experience are not as welcoming or personal as other places I've been to. The nail in the coffin as far as I'm concerned is they allow children on the pub even after 9 making as much noise as a children's nursery. This will not attract customers who want to spend money on food, where I think these pubs nowadays depend on.
 Hope it makes it but I suspect it's going to fall by the wayside I'm very sorry to say.

Dog lovers delight. Welcomes you and your dog anywhere in the building and outside as long as they are well behaved and on a lead. Fantastic vegetarian choices on the menu. Pool tables and tellies for sports fans.

Land lady confronted us as we walked in 4 another party bout y we had complained b4 NOT VERY DIGNIFIED.. still we was there this time 4 a friend's birthday party
