We used this place for a funeral wake for my father-in-law so this isn't the usual review for a pub!! However we were very pleased with the food provided and the friendly staff that made a difficult day more bearable. Thanks Prince of Orange for your great service.
We stopped by here recently, first time since the new ownership. Very nice inside, lovely log burner, friendly staff. Food was really nice. I nervously chose a Christmas turkey roast, which many a pub will cook badly. These guys did it justice.nnHeadline: don't go to the beef eater for a generic dinner, go here, support a better business.
Sunday roast and a vegetarian roast was splendid. Couldn’t fault. Tasty cooked by a real chef .. delicious. Waiter he was awesome. Totally second to none. Really enjoyed mother’s birthday dinner here today . Definitely recommend. Will be back too. With more family members..!!
Had a meal at the Prince of Orange many years ago & vowed I wouldn’t return, however, a family member informed it’s now under new ownership & had a revamp. My partner & I visited yesterday & was surprised at not only the lovely decor, but the friendly warm welcome we received from staff. We had chilli beef & tempura prawn starters & we both had fish & chips for main course which came with fresh homemade tartare sauce & homemade mushy peas. The service & quality of food was excellent & value for money. We will definitely recommend this pub/restaurant to our family & friends & will most definitely return again sometime soon.
This is one of the friendliest pubs I have ever visited. The owners are really accommodating. There is service with a smile and you are made to feel like a local straight away. We didn't sample the food, but if its anything like the general service, you can't go wrong.
