My mother enquired about a funeral plan and was promised a call back. This was in the morning, no call back, also no callback the following day. She decided to take her business elsewhere. Seems hard nowadays to get good customer service. This is not to discredit probably a good funeral director but to bring to the attention of the owner that customer service counts for a lot nowadays
I cannot praise Arthur Baxters enough. From my first phone call to the funeral yesterday it has been amazing service. Katie and team were fantastic, and sorted everything for me. The celebrant Patricia was also 1st class. I could not have asked for a better send off for my Mum.
Attended interview for position with this company and despite assurance I would be contacted shortly did not bother to do so until prompted!, much later. They clearly did not have the dignity to provide a response! and have not provided explanation otherwise. This is not down to the Funeral home on question but is addressed to their HR centre .I thought communication and respect was an essential element of services they offer, but professionally they lack any sense of regard to potential employees! It may be that so called elderly applicants are excluded for consideration but to date I have had no answer to this point ?
i have used this company now for three losses in my family over the last 8 years. They have all been dealt with, in compassion and professionalism. The staff were caring and appropriately attired showing complete respect for the deceased, but most of all for the family that remained. I would recommend this company to everyone. The after care was also very well done, with follow up phone calls, without being intrusive. Many thanks from the whole Nixon family.
