Horrible service especially buses route 24 and 25 to Harlescott as a lot of times they do not turn up. I don’t know what is going on but it is very frustrating.
1 star is generous Treated my hard working and loyal mother disgracefully when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. They forced her into a corner and bullied her out of a job she loved so they didn’t have to pay out when she passed away. Should be ashamed of yourselves!
Waited at London road bus stop outside business park for 4-42 bus into town only to have it go sailing past without stopping, had a long hot walk.
I hope the company gonna close their business thr worse I had in my life the buses always leave later with 10-15 minutes or they arrive later with 50 minutes I just been waiting for 20 minutes in the bus station, and ai want my money back for the ticket I had an all day ticket and didn t get the chance to use it

I had cause to take an elderly and disabled relative for emergency dental treatment in Shrewsbury. I parked outside the Practice on double yellow lines. No sign of any parking restrictions. About 10 minutes later a parking enforcement officer arrived and issued a ticket, indicating the no loading 4.30-6.30 on a sign further up the road. Having parked in this spot many times - never at his time of the day, I was caught out by the inconspicuous sign. The parking enforcement officer informed me that four Arriva bus drivers had complained that they had difficulty getting my car – indeed, a great way to assist the traffic enforcement officer in meeting his/her daily targets…. But very interesting, given that the one bus I observed picture attached managed to get past with absolutely no problem well done to that driver who, given the obvious inadequacies of some of his/her colleagues, is obviously a very capable bus driver. Perhaps, Arriva, some of your drivers need retraining, or maybe there is something else afoot….
Since the changes to the former number 8 bus route, the service has actually deteriorated. I waited for the 10.47 a.m. bus on Friday 20th May, scheduled, as per the new Arriva timetable, to be going on into the Shrewsbury bus station. Others were waiting for the bus also. Unfortunately the bus did not appear because Arriva had not followed its own timetable and the bus that came the opposite way was not going back into the town centre but on to the Princess Royal Hospital. If you are using this service from the Sutton Farm area into the town it actually makes it not an hourly service, but a two-hourly one. A large proportion of the population that uses buses is older and not always able to easily walk the distance into town, and those that do not drive are now therefore doubly disadvantaged. It is a poor service and deserves further analysis of the recent changes.
