Nice little cafe in fort William . We visited this cafe when we stopped over in fort William. Little walk from parking and beautiful views over sea from cafe. We had multiple Chai Latte , there are delicious . Highly recommended place . Helpful staff. We visited on our way back to have the chai latte. It’s in high street definitely no parking , park outside and walk to high street.
Solid Chinese food and coffee shop to boot! I think in a small town like this, it makes the best business sense to combine two specialities in one shop. But don’t let that fool you into thinking the food is just “all right.” The Chinese cuisine is the real deal.
It’s a nice little place but the staff weren’t really that welcoming. I am not sure if it is because they’re short staffed as it was quite busy with only one person serving and making coffee. The Lemon Drizzle cake is to die for though and the coffee is quite nice too.
Friendly staff, nice coffee and lovely vegan wonton soup. Highly recommend if you like cafes and/or Chinese food
Lovely staff and excellent food. We had a seat with a view to enjoy our lunch.
On our way to Inverness from Glasgow we stopped for a while at Fort Williams. We wish we entered any other cafe than this one. The lady at the till was super confused. To be fair to her she said it was her first day. The lady who came out from inside to help, was the rudest person I have ever come across in a tourist town. They literally took over 10 minutes to process an order of 2 Americanos. We got the feeling that we can get further delayed so asked for the Coffees in takeaway cups they had them… they advertise coffee to take away…. we didn’t ask for the moon. They didn’t seem pleased. The lady who came from inside to help, was the one who looked more irritated. “Do you need a lid” for the takeaway coffee, she asked my wife. She looked even more irritated when we did ask for a lid. Fort Williams is such a pretty town and the city centre is full of character. Just please don’t waste your time at Aroma’s Cafe.
Strange concept of coffee shop come Chinese quick fry dishes. Decor lacked authenticity and suffered from a personality crisis. The food was not the best. Singapore vermicelli was spicy but tasteless, wonton noodle soup had the wrong type of noodles and soup base was more like dishwater. Ma Po tofu was nice spiced and ok.
A super warm and lovely find in Fort William, serving some real Chinese comfort food. We were looking for something simple and filling but the town is filled with overpriced restaurants befitting the tourist market - this was the perfect spot for us to have warm Chinese tea and some beef brisket rice cooked to perfection!
Unfortunately I had a Very very long wait, almost half an hour of standing in a line of 3 people and sitting, until I got my coffee. The coffee was good and strong, but quite pricey and the wait made me wonder if it was worth it. although it was a long wait it was clear that the man there, who was the only member of staff I could see, was trying hard to give people a good experience, which was nice, but the price of the food and drinks along with the wait brought it down to a 4 star, possibly even 3 for some, review apologies for the 2 incorrect images used
I ordered a chicken curry with rice and vegetable spring rolls and it cost me £20.50! The food quality does not reflect the price. Won't be backFood: 2/5
