I have severe anxiety about dentists due to a previous bad experience & let my tooth problems get out of control. I lost front teeth due to my negligence & was afraid to go to another dentist due to shame. After 10 years of pain I had the courage to try again & i'm glad I did. Paul was not judgemental at all and never spoke about my past stupidity, only what he/we could do going forward to solve things. He went at my pace, all treatments were my choice including being referred to hospital to get my worst teeth removed all at once under GA. All fillings were done very sensitively, stopping if I was getting to stressed at any point. I now have a partial denture & can smile for the first time in many, many years.

I only get my teeth checked here as I have braces under an orthodontist in the city centre but the staff are always lovely. My daughter has been coming with me for more than a year to this practice and she's not frightened of the 'magic chair' or the 'shiny light' or the lady 'with the funny accent'. She's not intimidated by any of it and I think this is really important to a parent - taking your child to a dentist can be daunting especially if you're one who has had bad experiences with dentists in the past, but it's a necessary thing. My husband has fillings, smoker's gums, the works, when we started going to this practice he needed a clean and he bled tons but the staff were so patient and polite, so kind and gentle with him. They told him how to take care of his teeth in a way that his previous dentist hadn't before. The dentists, dental nurses, reception staff at this practice, they all genuinely give a damn. Even if they've just been ratted at by the previous customer, they actually physically take a deep breath, and carry on because they realise you're a brand new person not like the one before. They all treat you with a stellar smile and they really know what they're doing. :) :) :)

UNHAPPY I was doing regular checks and I was told I'm fine a small jobs to do as you could expect on regular checks maybe just to tik off next customer. Suddenly I got horrible pain and came back in rush to the same dentist as usual,and I was told that she's not gonna fix it because someone else failt to do his job properly in the past. She kept me in unknowledge and didn't bother to tell me on checks anything, only because someone else was not succesfull doing that job not her Okay, To me, the problem is that she never bothered to tell me something like, look there may be a problem due to previous treatment elsewhere, you better get it sorted somewhere else cos I won't do this. She didn't advised even antibiotic to stop the infection, which did another dentist. But somehow I gave them another chance with another tooth, after a week I came back with pain the doctor said no wrong with it,it's just only me to turn back home with pain,I came back after a week, was advised to take painkiller for 4-5 weeks"madness" and then I end up elsewhere with bill £300 despite the 1 year guaranty for the tooth Won't recommend to anybody Just don't know if it's lack of knowlage or ignorance of customers AVOID

Its hard to say nice things about a visit to the dentist however this practice has managed to save a tooth when another couldn't. Good work overall though only four stars as it is a dentist and thats about as good as it gets!

My tooth hurt so I had to see a dentist. This practice was very good with me. The staff are very nice and its very clean. The dentist fixed up my tooth without hurting me so I would recommend this practice to anyone. I have had some veneers done and they look ace.
