What happened to the management of this Argos? It used to be run by friendly people, but now the staff & management are rude & angry. After paying for a vacuum cleaner, I asked to have the box opened so I could see the attachments. It wasn't even removed from its box before I realised it wasn't what I needed, so I asked for a refund. This is a service argos usually offers. They looked at me with suspicious expressions, kept angrily asking why I don't want it, discussed it amongst themselves, then insisted it's my job to remove the original packaging tape, buy new sellotape myself & reseal the box lid myself! All of this when I hadn't even taken the item out of its box or left the store with it. Unbelievable.

I always dread going to Argos inside the shopping centre in Ealing, I wait until I have absolutely no choice but to go there!
Very slow service, Unprofessional staff..I had the pleasure of being served by an African lady who has a massive chip on her shoulder and thinks she owns the place!
Very disorganized and bad management.

I've been shopping here for years and used to love to come here but now it's much worst. Some staff very unhelpful tried to exchange my son's slippers for different size and that woman was not happy that I didn't have the store number of new size, then she pretended looking up online for it on her phone for so long and when I had a glimpse she looked at some appliances or something completely different and then announced that this size is out of stock, but her whole attitude made me check afterwards and she lied as all the sizes were in stock. Not impressed ☹️

This was my first time and last time I will be going into that Argos. We had a horrible experience in there served by a horrible rude manager with tattoos on her arm and face like she wants to kill customers. Me and my husband purchased a blow up mattress in the rush and didn't realise that it wasn't an electrical pump mattress. My husband obviously opened it and when he realised it wasn't a electrical he tried to fold it and put it back in the box. He couldn't fold it excatly the way it was folded as it was difficult so he did he's best. But the horrible manager who look like a a Pub gizer told us that we used it and she's not going to exchange the item. This service that we received from manager was discrasful & the worst customer service I have ever received since been shopping anywhere. This was so bad that they don't even deceive one star.This manager screwed her face at me and look like she wanted to fight me going red in her face and looking at me with her evil little eyes keeped on arguing. The worst Argos store ever!

Argos - the shop you have to go to when you don't have time to wait for amazon. I try to avoid Argos anyway, but I would stay away from this particular store. Awful customer service, ridiculous waiting times, understaffed collection points resulting in chaos and overall a frustrating customer experience. I waited 30 minutes for an item I was told was immediately available to collect. This is the second time it's happened here, hence the reason I'm posting. I don't understand how they are still so busy...is everyone equally desperate and last minute as me?
