Staff have always been great here! I've seen some difficult customers be dealt with as quickly and appropriately as possible. As someone who is disabled I've even been offered help getting my items to the bus stop across the street when it was quiet, which was so kind and appreciated. I always order online, so I don't need to hang around, but most customers I've been in with have ordered and are having their items sent down as I'm leaving, which is usually around 5-10 minutes. Overall, it was a great experience for such a basic interaction!
A very rude staff and be aware if you buy something expensive from them they will treat you like a ball each one pass you to another at the end you will not get either refund or replacement so just waste your money. Better to not buy from them.
Staff running about didn’t have no plan in place waited 38 minutes for my order would have been quicker to buy same product from B&M at same price and shop wasn’t all that busy was told delivery driver called sick that’s why all the delay ? .. I’ll not return… very poor service…
They seem to use cowboy delivery companies that don't plan ahead 1% and leave you waiting for weeks for deliveries later than have been paid for. But the more trucks they have on the road , the more people they can use their accountants on. Will never be using again, unless it's freezing outside or I want to type swearwords on the search screens.
I will never shop here again even though I did everything had the receipt and all the parts that came with the watch i bought a watch a month ago and it developed a fault yesterday 30 days after purchase so took it back and got told by Amy yhe manager she would have to send it for repair em no I know my rights the way Amy acted you would think it was coming out her own pocket another argos fixed my issue with no ifs and bursary needs to check her consumer rights act 2015 the item is not fit for purpose not of satisfactory quality and not as described under the act I actually was shaking like a leaf and wanted to throw up after this experience where do you get for making a disabled woman feel like that??? Disgusting way to make people feel I was so stressed and worried I was really anxious about taking them back
Just like any other Argos store go to the in store terminals computer devices brouse and order/pay then wait for your order unless your buying large items like a cooker, Fridge freezer etc where deliver to your door. Usually within a month or less!
It was my big mistake that I bought vacuum cleaner from them on 23rd May 2024 I collected it from Stockwell street store but I came to return it next day on 24th May because it was not working and I show them the video that it is not working and I requested them if they have any technical team send them with me if it’s working I will keep it but the staff girl she was very rude and she said she need to check she opened the box which was very nicely packed and she said no we cannot take it back she call the manager he was worst and rude and refused to return because my taxi was waiting outside so I left the item there and phone to customer service but the girl on the customer service she was also very rude and said to me that you got the wrong person you need to go back and collect you order we not refund you that was nightmare for me I tried to phone every where but at last the customer service told me on Friday on 7th June if you show them the receipt in the store they will refund you but she was lying to me I went there on 10th of June but the girl on the customer service she said not we cannot refund you need to take it back then I took my vacuum cleaner which is useless for me and it is with me at home so I decided not to buy anything from them in future.
Argos is the original Amazon before the Internet and e shopping was invented, you pick your goods from a catalogue and click a button, pay and voila, you have your goodies. They sell a large variety of different types of goods and the best thing is you get it straight away unlike the Internet where you have to arrange for delivery. This shop is curiously shaped. It sits in a good location and the service is as you would expect
Tried to return a headset, it had only been 21 days since purchased, they spent 40 minutes looking for the code and sku on the system which they never found the manager then proceeded to take the headphones out and rudely put it to me that the headphones had been used and that they could not return them… The headphones had been out of the box to try in my controller but where the wrong input so I could not have used them This is a disgrace as they could not find the product on the system so they came up with a story that the headphone had been used basically call me a liar To be honest avoid this shop at all times MANAGER IS RUDE and staff are super lazy Not the first run in I have had with This argos store Disappointing Argos
Big wide open store but no stock held there complete waste of space and time No stock anywhere in Glasgow
