Rude, unhelpful staff. Their manager throw our receipts away, Sale Assistant very aggressive. Both of them focus not to help us but to sent us away. Never again! People will decide how long they will stay, because previously every visit there is a new staff. Finally strange and unprofessional comments towards Argos Customer Service and CEO, claiming that shop manager is a local king! We sent a message cross our networks to avoid that place, because according to Umberto Ecco one angry customer is worth 10000 happy ones.
Worst customer service I've ever had in my life. Don't even bother of ordering from them guys. They literally don't know what they're doing.
Not happy with Argos in-store experience!!! Whether Manager or staff the ethos and attitude is poorly. I had 2x rather large items to carry but it was too much effort for them to assist with a bag and too much effort to get a trolley to help me. It's a pity I have to see their miserable faces at the end of an overall good shopping spree. The star is for the app-experience.
I had a really good experience in store today and the staff member I think it was Lynn who helped me was so lovely. I felt a bit nervous returning a faulty baby monitor after having a bit of difficulty with online customer services, but the staff member dealt with my issue instantly. Retail workers are under a lot of pressure just now and it would be so easy to become negative but all of the staff were really nice. Thank you.
Worst experience with Argos ever. Generally speaking, I like Argos network and never had any issues with Dunfermline one till today 30.04. Tried to return faulty product back and got money back to my PayPal account. My request has been rejected as “I need to show debit card attached to my PayPal account”. I’ve tried to explain these 2 women there was a payment made using a PayPal balance and No card linked to PayPal but they haven’t even tried to understand me and to be honest they were quite rude and looks really happy and complacent rejecting my request It’s not acceptable behaviour and I believe, the store manager should discuss this issue with them 30.04, around 3pm
Argos sold me a bed that was meant to be here in 7 days it's now 3 weeks on and there asking me to wait another 10 days. Which I'll be lucky to get it then as they dont stock my bed now. Didnt even have the decency to contact me to tell me the order had been rescheduled. Absolutely terrible
The girl who came to see if l needed help in ordering was happy to go and ask the manageress about getting a taxi. I had forgotten my phone. The manageress phoned a taxi for me, as l could not have taken the purchase there and then otherwise. The girl on the till was very helpful, knew her products and clearly explained the returns policy. She made sure l had everything l needed to use my purchase. The 'big strong boy' lifted my purchase to the door and volunteered to come back and help when my taxi arrived. All in all, a very pleasing 'can-do' experience.
Some of the staff are great but there's one manager who is awful. I tried to return a faulty item and was told to "take it up with the manufacturer" despite it only being a few months old. She needs to be retrained on consumer law and customer services. I called the manufacturer who told me to take the item back to Argos for a full refund. I did so but not at Halbeath and won't use them again.
We got a poor service today when we tried to return an unsatisfactory office chair. The lady at the till was very unprofessional and rude. She didn't even apologise to us and her behaviour to us were like we returned the stuff deliberately to annoy them. She did not accept the return and we had to drive to the Kirkcaldy branch and they happily accepted the return and gave a full refund. I think the staff requires some serious training about customer service. I will never go back to this shop again and I will always think twice before buying anything from Argos.
Not a happy customer at all! Went into Argos, Dunfermline today to get a replacement Oculus Rift-S VR headset as the first one was faulty and they gave me another 2nd hand headset?? Finger prints all over it and had clearly been used! after calling customer services they said it could of been a mix up and they given you a returned order! So looks like they keep the returned goods with the items for sale. Not good at all! Getting my refund of £350 and will buy direct from Oculus, at least I know it will be brand new.
