Good selection of products over a wide range of items at very reasonable prices. Parking available with easy access to the property. Staff are very helpful but not intrusive. Would certainly recommend this store this store.
Great prices and good variety of goods
I know it's, a really popular shop and I like to go on and look at their household stuff which is always lovely. I'm not keen on their t-shirts and jumpers etc as I find thru bauble very very quickly. Husband likes their 100% cotton jumpers but they tend to go really big when washed.
Redesigned store layout makes better use of space. Ground level only - no stairs. Constantly changing fashion & homewares. Affordable prices and stylish lines, including footwear. Fashions for all the family. Special offers. Free parking outside the store.

Brilliant customer service by one particular person, her name is Jada who is one of the floor staff, based at the Dunfermline store. Jade made my experience a whole lot easier and felt like I had my own stylist! could not praise her hard work enough. Definitely has the potential to go far with a great personality. Thanks Jada :
Real suede dessert boots in black were marked at £28 but went through at £8 !!! Bargain. Good clean shop and the girl on the till was very polite.
Good shop, can looking for all what you need, good and friendly personal. BUT... Matalan has signed up with a parking company to issue charges for using the carpark for more than 2 hours when there is more than 6 big shops within the carpark, which could take more than 3 hours to visit in full.
Didn't like customer service Very ubrupt when asked to scan your own clothes and not very helpful when you asked for help Won't be back at Dunfermline store.
I was very disappointed and upset with my visit ro Matalan today. I went into the Dunfermline store to return an item I bought yesterday but the assistant who served me was very abrupt and very unhelpful. The visit took place at approx 2pm and the assistant needs to go on a customer service course. I've been a regular customer for years but today's visit was embarrassing as I have parkinson and need a bit of time and help when I reach the cash desk. I wasn't shown any of the above today.
