Bought a bike for little lad for his birthday for his age as says online but once I put up was way too small for him so I took back to store unused but put together and They said I couldn’t return it because I had put it together and had to keep the Manager Jason thinks he’s so clever laughing as I explained the situation How can you tell if it is correct size while it’s apart and have gone off size which is online and should be his size there must be a error on size chart for this bike Avoid this store much nicer staff at one in Barnsley town
Poor service all-round DON'T Use
Terrible customer service the in store manager Jason plant is utterly clueless and must have done some serious bending over to get the job so he can get his extra 5 p an hour . All staff look so unhappy and be on minimum wage no please no thank no smiles your doing a real good job with your staff Jason Gone really down hill won’t be returning
Try to keep this short , here goes . Reserved online for fast collection no! No one on the tills waited 6 minutes for someone come take my money , no please no thank you, then waiting to collect my item there were 2 other customer waiting and the arrogant staff member shouted can you all come for forward so I can see your ticket numbers very unprofessional he was , he experience shocking , will think again about using you and being a manager myself I would be horrified at this level of service.
I particular staff member a jobsworth. Turned up to collect a couple of items i bought on my argos card and wouldn't give me my items because I forgot to bring it with me but had alternative id "my photo driving licence' as stated in the email as other forms of id which can be used. I have used this before and still wasn't good enough. Don't state it in the email if you cannot use other forms of id. Absolute waste of journey and have to do the journey agaim which I could do without.
Every product i brought from them has been open, used and scratch. Waste of money!!
Will never use again for eBay order collection. Staff completely ignored the queue whilst serving the other collection queue and in-store orders. Waited 15 mins and watched at least 5 other people get served before me who came in after me. Had to ask if anyone was serving - or I think I'd still be standing there! I get that we're not paying customers when collecting eBay orders but we're all potential Argos customers - now it's the last place I'll go.
Not too bad overall, clean and tidy Always have what I need in stock and constantly having sales on products which are already relatively cheap bargain One downside is that 8/10times you will be waiting to get served and for your products. But I think it's worth it as iv never been in longer then 15minutes and got deals in the process
I went to Argos in Cortonwood that I loved this store and it is so amazing this store and I have enjoyed it.
Possibly the slowest Argos I've ever been to. One member of staff on tills having to deal with a queue. Few staff handing stuff out but generally just stood milling around. Took well over 15 minutes for item to arrive. The iPad things for checking stock are virtually unusable given how slow they run. *Edit* Knocked a star off. Internal TV screen showing orders said our order was complete and we hadn't had the item. Took another five minutes to track it down. Won't be coming back.
