Again had a fabulous stay here. We came last year and this year our friends joined us. They loved it so much we are going back next year. Great toilet block, very clean. Cathie as always very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
This really is a different campsite!! The approach to it is a builders yard and haulage! The view from motorhome on to the lake was good. It is 7 miles from Pitlochry. However the toilets were not clean at all especially in the men's ones. However the
A return visit after 7 years and warmly welcomed by the owner, lovely lady. A spot right on the loch, fantastic views. Great shower facilities etc.. great value for money. Will definitely be back again
This is by far one of the best camping sites we have been on stayed 3 night and loved it the views are amazing. Its a bit like wild camping but with great shower and toilet facilities. The lady in reception is very friendly and cheated away we will deffo be back here highly recommended x
Lovely, level campervan area overlooking Loch Tummel. New toilet block is very clean and spacious. No marked pitches, so had a couple of over friendly distance neighbours wanting to get close to the great view, and I expect it will be busy later in the year than now mid-May.
Very friendly and welcoming, both when we booked at 9am the day we hoped to arrive and when we arrived. The views are stunning and the sound of the nearby waterfall is very relaxing background. Despite the extremely wet weather we had an amazing loch-side spot that was remarkably dry. Facilities loos, showers, indoor washing up sinks with hot water were basic but absolutely everything we needed - we never saw another person using them at the same time as us during our whole stay! Fairly steep walk from the tent area to the facilities, which was fine for us. Dog was welcome on lead.
Really good value basic camping / caravan site with what must be one of the best locations in Scotland. One downside, if you are towing, the road is narrow and used by tour buses and large lorries. Be ready to squeeze in.

Had an amazing time camping here over the weekend. The lovely woman who met us at reception possibly the owner? was incredibly thoughtful about where she put us; we had 4 young children in the group and were initially going to be down next to the Loch however she moved us up and away so that the children were safe during our stay. The campsite toilets and showers were clean and there was a room for washing dishes which was super handy. The walk to the Loch was a couple minutes and we swam there 3 times over our stay which was an awesome experience. The drinking water is a little discoloured, I suspect due to peat, but tastes fresh and was perfectly usable so don't be put off! Overall the perfect camping holiday and all of us who went have said we would love to make it an annual thing.
