First time trying this place, and we’re glad we booked ahead of time, it’s a small family restaurant. The staff were wonderfully attentive to the customers, it’s a family friendly place! The quality of Italian food is up there lovely and unassuming, I recommend the handmade pasta.
The interior of Lorenzo is quite cosy, I felt like I was in an Italian home with the decor. The staff took care of us and our orders were quick to be served. I was very pleased with my Pizza Fiorentina and my friends tomato and basil spaghetti looked amazing Would come back to try everything on the menu
As a large extended Irish family we have enjoyed the menu and the atmosphere at Lorenzo since it opened In 1985 and have always enjoyed the food ,service, and atmosphere at the restaurant Following the pandemic the family wanted a big Christmas get together and 27 of us kids, teenagers and some ancients gathered in the upstairs room which was charmingly arranged for our reunion. Thanks to Natalie and the wonderful staff we had a great party. The food was great and staff attentive and flexible . The kids had a wonderful time meeting their cousins and loved their pizza and ice cream. Hopefully we’ll be back next year. Happy new year 2023 to Natalie and staff and thanks to you all for helping to make our family reunion memorable. Ursula 6th January 2022
Cosy atmosphere, very good food and service, fair price range, staff pays attention to the order and prep as requested. We will make another visit for sure. Vegetarian options: They have vetetarian options on the menu one of them is the pizza.
I booked the upstairs room for 15 people. I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From reaching out to make the booking, the calls and emails that followed, the food and service on the day itself; everything was absolutely perfect! Would highly recommend for small private parties. The upstairs has its own bar, terrace and toilet area. Reasonably priced and the staff are so welcoming. Kid-friendliness: 7 and 2 year old were made to feel very welcome. Catered exactly to their food needs
Enjoyed the outing to this lovely little Italian. Great for family night out. Food is scrumptious, hearty and decent sized portions. Great selection of dishes on the menu. Staff are friendly, helpful, and efficient. I would love to return.Food: 5/5
It's all about the food in this place! Which taste amazing, I didnt give myself a chance to take pictures as the food was too delicious to waste time. The food was well presented. Staff are family friendly and extremely helpful. I love the fact you can see the kitchen which gives you more confidence while eating. Decor has an outdated Italian theme. Very clean and cosy. 5 stars. Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair friendly
We have not been to Crystal Palace for a while. Arriving by train early evening we strolled along the road and made this great find. The welcome was smiling and helpful, we were given a table near the back of the ground floor, good position. We shared the arancini which was freshly made, hot in temperature and very tasty. We both had a main course from the fresh pasta menu and they were delicious. Leave some room for desert to finish your meal. Next time we are in the area I will book to make certain that we have a table.
Our absolute favourite place - we've been going for over 20 years. Mainly pizza and pasta. Specials always spot on. Friendly staff without fail. Vegan options too. Menu got recently shortened but that's not a bad thing in my bookFood: 5/5
Thank you so much Natalie and the team @ Lorenzo Crystal Palace for kindly hosting our son's 1st birthday party. A special thank you to Sami and Zaemar who were our main servers on the day. You were all very good with us and nothing was too much of a bother for you. You made us all feel at home and made our boy's special day memorable. The food was superb especially those prawns as the starter everyone was raving about them ..... more of the same please next time we come over. See you all soon and keep up the good work.
