Lots of prior posts describing the decor and ambience. For my part I found the food to be delicious: nicely prepared and presented. It’s a place for wine drinkers - large selection of bottles and a few by the glass. Unfortunately for me they don’t have a very large beer selection Vegetarian options: Clearly marked vegetarian and vegan options. Parking: Just outside south hampstead overground and close to Swiss cottage underground. Wheelchair accessibility: Not a lot of interior space to maneuver a wheelchair.
Yikes. Pretty cold and welcoming waitress staff. Left quickly after one drink. If you're used to higher class establishments, avoid this place, despite the ceiling decor at the rear, the place gives off a very cheap and tacky feel, sat on Pu leather seats and the plastic table cloths seemed sticky from the previous customer
Great local place with simple menu, good wine selection and service with the smile. It was our second time and we will definitely be back.Food: 5/5
This place is wonderful for a cosy night put in a warm and friendly environment. The atmosphere is so authentic and special. Food is excellent as well as the wine list. Can’t wait for a live music night out there!Food: 5/5
Looved this place, stopped for a cheeky dessert and snifter after dinner somewhere else and wow what a place. Service brill, desserts brill...we had tarte tartin & a tiramisu both served with an oreo ice cream. Place was so cool, vibey and cosy. Other people's food looked so good, will def be back for dinner and the brunch looks good too
This was one of the best dining experiences that was completely beyond expectation within this quiet neighbourhood. To start off, there were numerous decorations of all sorts in this place. The tables were imbued with wine crates, candle holders with traces of years of burnt wax, the ceiling - an extraordinary exhibition of curious, personal collections. The food was superb and the prices were more than fair. We ordered two starters - both of which were delicious. Then we ordered steak and roast lamb, the steak was so juicy and tender and the roast lamb was perfect. Both were of a pretty large portion. Staff were very helpful and constantly serving with passion. I don't normally write reviews but this place deserves MORE attention than it should!
Been here a few nights, nice place to chill out, nice food, good ambiance, last but not least friendly staffs! It's the place to chill out for a drink! Cheers! Food: 5/5
This is a rating as a place to drink and not to eat as I tend to drink here, not eat. A curious, very unique establishment inbetween Kilburn and St John's Wood. It's positively brimming with odd little objects everywhere - the walls, ceiling, in the small outside area at the back. They only have one beer on tap, but the wine selection is excellent. Well worth a visit.
Excellent! Love this restaurant! Good food! Good Vibe with Excellent live music! Highly recommendedFood: 5/5
