Story

Since 1962, La Gaffe has been opening its doors to locals and overseas visitors alike. We opened originally as a restaurant but, over the years, we have expanded to include both our guest accommodation and wine bar.

We offer comfortable and competitively priced rooms, as well as delicious Italian cuisine. Set in the heart of Hampstead Village, one of London’s most charming areas, both our award-winning hotel and restaurant are family-run. We are warm and hospitable with our emphasis on informality.

The most charming restaurant in London. This was our family’s weekly spot for Sunday supper when we lived there.

I love this place. The staff are so friendly, Lorenzo, Alex, Giuseppe they’re always wonderful. The food is fantastic and the prices are reasonable

Such a lovely B&B, located between the heath and town. Hospitable and welcoming hosts, the restaurant offerings were delicious and we used it as a base to explore the area for the weekend. Our room was well equipped, just be aware that there is no accessible access if you would require it. We would love to stay again!

Great find. Lovely character hotel with a lovely family atmosphere in a great location.
