The best yoga class ive found in manchester, particulary the somatic yoga class run by Jamie, managment should realise how unique it is to have such a class, its all about the release of tension mostly lying down has similarities to yin yoga or feldenkrais. Highly recomend for anyone suffering from aches and pains or in need of relaxation.

Lovely place, but lots of delinquents hanging outside. Often school children causing scenes because seemingly they have nowhere to actually hang out. Be wonderful if they actually went inside and learned something from one of the many books on the shelves. Aside from the odd child with his shirt unbuttoned trying to get into a scrap over a girl who has 20 missed calls from her dad at 4-6 in the evening, not bad at all. Nice library, nice facilities, nice gym, nice pool.
Swim for all was far too overcrowded. Seems like a lovely sized pool but half the pool is blocked off for lane swim and swim for all is crammed into one small half, the room for non confident swimmers is even smaller. They need to either book less places for swim for all or monitor the time people actually get in, people were in there for well over their time! I got in with my baby and got out after 10 minutes.nnWouldn’t recommend swim for all mid afternoon if you were expecting a quietish swim and space to swim with a baby.nnDesk staff were so lovely though and helpful with my baby. I might need to try a swim again at a different time or the mother and baby sessions . The fact it was the middle of the school holidays wasn’t helpful.
A very average leisure centre with a very crowded and claustrophobic gym space. They have friend to fit as many equipment as possible into a tiny room. Not great, but sufficient. Staff are ok. I have experienced then being very rude to others on two occasions and I get bad that I didn’t speak up for those people. The library side of it seem useful but I can’t comment much, since physical book are somewhat obsolete. It has an ok swimming pool, a steam room and a sauna with changing rooms and hairdryers etc. Also free internet so happy days.
