One of our best days out so far! Great place to visit for all ages. Plenty of places to sit and rest as there is a lot of walking once inside! Our favourite was the Sharks, to see them up close and see all their teeth was amazing! The penguins too, were a favourite, they were very funny to watch with all their antics underwater. A great day out.
Started well, but to be honest? Wasn't really my cup of tea.. For me? It was too dark with low ceilings, I actually found it hard to walk comfortably without the worry of tripping. Whist most of the tanks were relatively spacious doubt the sharks and the fish would agree, relative.., I thought the penguin enclosure seemed extremely small? I'm not an expert, by any means, and of course, we have no idea about their non-public space, nay be huge! Was it worth £40? For me, absolutely not, but you might. Maybe I'm not used to London rates. Absolutely superb for the children and many adults. Interesting and very informative and educational. There's also face painting, plenty of rest spaces, games and toilets, plus 100% spot on for getting you in as quickly and efficiently as possible.
The variety of marine life on display was impressive, from colorful tropical fish to majestic sharks and graceful rays. The exhibits were well-designed and informative, making it easy to learn about the different species. The highlight for me was walking through the glass tunnel with sea creatures swimming overhead. It was a relaxing and enjoyable solo visit, perfect for anyone interested in marine life. Highly recommend!
Very very busy. Could do with staff to sort crowd control. A few annoying people blocking the views to get photos for their 'Insta' You could spend about an hour to an hour and a half, I think longer on a quiet day when you can get in and spend time looking at everything. I moved on quicker than I normally would to allow others through. I would visit again at low season. It was just far too busy with too many people. I used a discount code through national rail which gave us a third off. 1 adult and 2 children cost £60. Expensive for 90 minutes, but hey ho, it's London The staff were all amazing and despite my moaning, I would recommend it.
Sea Life London is a fantastic aquarium for families with young children. We recently visited with my 2-year-old son and we had a wonderful time exploring all the different underwater exhibits. The aquarium is well laid out with plenty of interactive displays and tanks at eye level for little ones. My son was mesmerized by the colorful fish, sharks, and jellyfish swimming around us. The highlight for him was definitely the touch pool where he got to feel starfish and sea anemones up close. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there were plenty of opportunities for us to learn about the different sea creatures we were seeing. Overall, Sea Life London is a great day out for families with young children. It's the perfect mix of entertainment and education, and my son is already asking when we can go back!
Went early on a Saturday at the start of the school holidays and it was pretty quiet. We could see all the critters without having to battle through horses of unaware and inconsiderate people. Brilliant. Great aquarium if you can get in when it isn't rammed.Visited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYes
BEST part of my city trip... I didn't anticipate I'd enjoy the aquarium as much as i did... It's a huge place with all sorts of water life... Even penguins and big sharks!!! Choose a weekday if you can because it would be less crowded, but would definitely recommend everyone to visit atleast once!!Visited onWeekendWait time10–30 minReservation recommendedYes
Remember, you’re not going there to see anything – you’re just there to drop your cash and leave. The managers of this "aquarium" are only interested in selling as many tickets as possible. Instead of fish, most of the time you’ll be staring at the backs of the crowd in front of you. And to top it off, they let in three school trips 30-40 kids at the same time, making it impossible to see anything. The crammed conditions and the owner’s greed exceed any reasonable limits. And honestly, it’s not worth the price. It’s just one big aquarium that you view from different angles, like that’s supposed to be exciting. It’s combined with casino-like attractions and the sale of anything and everything at every turn, just to make sure you part with as much money as possible. The staff outside of the entrance, of course is unpleasant, but that’s hardly surprising. And one more thing – this is not an oceanarium, just a big aquarium. Crowded, packed, and compared to other such places, there’s not much to see. Maybe I’d have a different opinion if we hadn’t been shoved into these cramped basements with a hundred other people.
We arrived a bit earlier than we should have but they kindly let us init was not a crowded period in the morning. I haven’t really done any research just checked some pictures on the net so I wasn’t expecting anything special, but when we got in, it was a really pleasant surprise the aquariums exceeded my expectations. It was large, not crowded we really had a good time there.
I visited this place with friends. We had lots of fun. Children would love this place. They can enjoy and have some memories with the parents of the sea life.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
