It was our first experience at The Box and it certainly won’t be our last. From the minute we arrived we were looking after and welcomed with open arms by all members of staff we encountered. Before coming we looked at the reviews and we couldn’t help but notice negatively towards the gatekeeper of the venue which did make us nervous but somewhat intrigued as to how she would perceive us… she certainly did not disappoint. Being greeted by Coryn on the door has to be one of the highlights of our night! If you’re refused entry then it says more about you as a person as Coryn’s dominance and pazazz on that door is exactly what a club such as that needs in Soho. Thank you to The Box this won’t be the last time you see us sequinned and fabulous!

Think it’s really important that I leave this review to warn people who are thinking of going to the Box. I now know 3 girls who have been spiked at this place on separate occasions. If you go here please be careful because it seems to happening a lot.

It costs a lot of money to look this cheap.  I was hoping that this club, which purports to be subversive, would be a fun night out. What an error. There isn’t a lot going on inside.  The ‘regulars’, E-list rappers and table-service incels, were generally pretty embarrassing. Security were unpleasant and incompetent.  Friendly bar-staff were a mildly redeeming feature.

Wasn't allowed in but I didn't realise it was pre book and I was alone, but the blonde lady and door staff were polite and friendly. Hopefully next time I'm in England IL give this place a try. Thanks

At first the atmosphere was nice until the show started. It was disgusting. I don’t even want to describe it, cause it was too graphic. I can only say that I’ll never go back there. The security guys are very rude and they choice whom to let back in, even if you’ll go to the toilet. It’s just wrong and horrible. Table cost £1K and by the stage £2K. Ridiculous. Would not recommend it!

I think this place is all kinds of special. I’ve been as a guest, I’ve hosted a table and I’ve been honoured enough to do a private hire there too. The staff I dealt with on the private hire side were exemplary. All of them and there were about 30 of them. When we wanted to make changes at the last minute they handled them effortlessly and with charm. The security were friendly, bus boys efficient, bar staff were brilliant, event manager Aisling unflappable, loo attendants were great… really everyone.  As for the show. There is no show in London with such frequent changes in line up that more effort goes in to. The content, the lighting, the sound… you wouldn’t want for anything else. If you’re going at peak times and you’re not dressed right, your gang is moody, their attitude is off and you want to drink water at the bar you’re less likely to get an amazing warm welcome. But really all they want is to create the best atmosphere at night and that’s why they have a lot of regulars and keep a lot of staff long term, because it’s an amazing special and unique place in London.

Listen to the reviews guys - queued for half hour, lady at the front the blonde mentioned in all reviews told us bar bill was £600 minimum or 1.5k table. There’s no criteria for getting in unless you know them it’s a lottery whether you’ll get in. Save your time and money and go elsewhereFood: 1/5
