The Apple store is a fine modern and very spacious shop. You can get all your Apple devices, whatever they may be all under one roof. Apple staff are very friendly and very prepared to assist you as quickly as they can with any issues you may arrive with. 
Very often you have to wait if you don’t have an appointment, but the wait is always worthwhile.  As soon as a staff member is available, you will receive their immediate attention till your problem is solved.
Sometimes this is an immediate fix or if things can’t be repaired straight away, you may have to leave your device for a number of days.

Had an issue with the home button and screen on a few month old iPhone 8. Took it to the apple store Liverpool to find out what the problem was. 
I was told the phone had water damage, the phone had never been more than damp and is rated to 1m water submersion for 30min. I explained this to them and thought the phone would be covered under warranty as it had never been subjected to any serious water submersion. 
Because I had apple care plus and it’s easier for them to charge me £79 than process a warranty claim they insisted that it was not faulty but had been accidental damage. I spoke to a manager at the store and he couldn’t care less, he made it quite clear by his body language that he wasn’t even listening. 
To add insult to injury I had some photos that I needed to back up before swapping for the new phone they insisted I purschase through apple care. I wanted to spend a few minutes backing them up before the swap. The “genius” insisted that the photos were automatically backed up with an iCloud backup even when not selected in the back up settings. I questioned this on several occasions before erasing my phones content before handing it over but the “genius” assured me that my photos were backed up with the settings I had. 
When I had restored my new phone from the backup there were no photos they were all lost. 
Apple store Liverpool have the worst customer services and most clueless staff I have every experienced.

After the initial problems I had contacting the store to arrange a slot to get my battery changed things did improve. Took it in this weekend and was very easy to get it sorted. The staff were great, even got a good tip for a place to go for lunch whilst we waited for it!

Good location
Helpful and friendly service. Staff know what they're doing..
I still prefer my Samsung Android...

They used to be great at customer service, now they're pathetic. I'm not alone in having an  apple watch that has had the screen shatter whist merely sitting on a wrist. The refuse to recognise this and have asked for £226 for 'repair'.
