Not happy with this Apple Store at all. I was greeted nicely. And the staff were very friendly, but the issue was that once the technician has a look at my iPhone 17, she said that the repair would cost £79 because not only is the screen damaged, but the outer housing has a dent in it. I thought it was ridiculous, as the dent was very small.nSo they said they will order the parts in at my nearest store because they don’t have the outer casing in stock. So I left with a broken phone. The next day I was at Brent Cross Apple Store so I decided to go and have one more try. I asked them and they said that it will only be a screen replacement for £25. They got it done on the spot in under an hour, just before the store closed. I was over the moon. I’m so happy that they didn’t have the part in stock and wasn’t forced to pay £79 for the outer casing replacement. Don’t go to this Apple Store for a repair similar to mine
With the busy atmosphere, I was expecting a rushed conversation at the Genius Bar. Patrick stood out to other past employees me and my family have dealt with. Knowledgeable and fully dedicated, asking questions about my usage to determine better solutions, he really represented Apple well in my opinion! He ensured my understanding before I left. I took my IPhone 15 to the Genius Bar yesterday morning because it had been intermittently flashing streaks of green light across the screen. Apple advised me to back up the iPhone before my appointment and downloaded diagnostic information. On site, Dennis from the GB installed a new screen within 1 hour and solved my problem. My phone was as new. This was done free of charge although the repair cost was £240. I bought the phone 16 months ago. It was out of Apple’s one year warranty but within the two year protection time required by UK consumer law. I was really grateful to Dennis and to Apple for their expertise, speed, generosity and not quibbling over anything. A great experience.
I’m quite disappointed about my last visit. I’ve booked appointment at 11am. Explained problem - face id didn’t work - they diagnosed hardware issue and new camera is necessary. During warranty so not a big deal but there is BIG thing after that. I told to person who took my phone that I’m not from London and I’m only visiting parent in law during long holiday break. I told them my mac and most of my cards are at home 300 miles away from London and I have no chance to get there before another flight - tomorrow. I’ve mentioned that few times to make sure they not gonna reset my iphone but if they have to do so that’s fine but I want to come back AFTER HOLIDAY and do repairs after. They asked me to come back 1:30pm. Came back 1:30 wait 10 mins , at 2 wait 10 mins, at 2:30 wait 10 mins. In the end my phone was ready to pick up about 3pm. And yes you are right they reseted my phone. I’m not sure to give 1 or 2 stars but they fixed it in the end that’s why 2 stars otherwise just choose different store if you want a proper service
I came on last Friday to try and cancel my AppleCare that I just found out that Nita force sold me. What I find amazing is she masked it as she’s selling me a 512gb Pro Max instead she put AppleCare on that I clearly remember saying I don’t want. I’m appalled with her and that you have someone in your store that does things like that. I’m not having to try and cancel it over the phone. Disgusting people.
