If I could give less than one star I would! Purchased a phone from this place (wish to god I hadn’t!). Turns out said phone is only good for receiving initial welcome texts from its sim provider however when you try to make a call or text from the phone it didn’t work, so, as it was bought for the purpose of business use I had to find a replacement and quickly as I needed to make/receive calls (go figure), This phone has just sat in my safe with the receipt until some time later when I had the chance to return it.. I was then told the phone would need to be warranty tested where it was charged up and a 3 sim was inserted and surprise surprise the phone received a welcome text from the provider but at no point were any calls made to prove the issue I had with it 😒 Given this ‘welcome text’ the brains of Britain in-store decided the phone worked fine. I was subsequently offered half the money I paid for the phone as a refund! If I knew I was buying a phone from robbers in the beginning I never would have bothered! I’ve since spoken to their online “customer” service team and guess what still absolutely bloody useless and now lying about them testing the phone by making a phone call (never happened). So I’m now in the midst of a back and fourth with the online chocolate teaspoons. I have asked them to check the stores cctv where they will clearly see the full extent of their test, that’s hoping they have cctv and not just some sham cam that doesn’t record anything (wouldn’t surprise me either). Do yourself a favour and save a bit more and buy a new phone. If you value your sanity steer clear of this place!

SERVED BY KATHERINE Problem With Katherine Number 1: February 21st 2018 😂 "Satisfactory Customer Service" You must be having a laugh. I went in with a friend to see how much he'd get for his phone. When asked which Motorola it was, he said he wasn't sure. So, to help, I said to him "if you take off the back cover it will give you the model number. Katherine responded by glaring at me, sighing, then saying "seeing as I've been working here for the last six years, I think I'd know that." Well, I'm sorry, but I wasn't talking to you, was I? And it's definitely soooo obvious that you've worked there for six whole years, I could definitely tell that just by looking at you because I'm psychic.. (sarcasm, obviously) then continued to mutter something under her breath (thankfully I didn't hear that part. However, was obviously much nicer to the one giving them their old tech. Problems With Katherine #2 I remember going into the same store a while ago back in the summer to sort out my phone, that had a camera fault. Yes, I got my money back, and she said "You're entitled to a full refund" all was well at this point, I'd gotten my money back. She then asked if I'd like to replace it with the same phone with the voucher, I said yes. But before I could explain I had to change to Vodafone, she walked away went and got 2 of the same A3's on EE priced at £80 each. Which is when I said "I'm with Vodafone now since I had to change my number, and the website. She sighed, put the other 2 back on the shelf, got the one on Vodafone for £60 she then continued to explain it had a scratch across the screen and on the camera lens, probably to put me off it and buy the more expensive one. Feeling unsatisfied, I said I'd buy the A3 on Vodafone, she was looking cross already. she then sighed, blurted "Ugh, Now I've gotta go get you a SIM!" stormed off to go get the SIM and returned without the sim. She then shoved the phone and charger into a paper bag when there was plenty of empty cardboard boxes behind her with the receipt, didn't bother to close the box like I've seen the staff do several times for others, claimed it was "It won't shut because the plug's sticking out". She then shoves the box across the counter causing it to nearly fall on their hard floor. When I picked everything up, I was able to close the box in front of her easily with a bit of room left. She saw me do this then sighed again. I barely caught it. She then sighs and glares at me with a look saying "Careful, you could've dropped that" I'm sorry, but I wasn't the one shoving it across the room. I'm the one giving you money, are you trying to make sure I never come back here? Problems With Katherine #3 The same Summer in 2017, I went for an original DS Console at £20 I thought "brilliant" I hadn't seen one in almost a decade" I walked in, and was greeted with a casual "hi" not a "Good morning" or a "Can I help", etc. I asked for the DS she said "wanna point it out" I did so and as I was walking back, I went to pay. I had to sign a receipt after that she just walked away no "have a good day" or even a simple "thank you" Problems With Katherine #4 Just before Christmas ,I went in to buy some DVD's probably about 6 of them, and about 4 of them were put in the right boxes. She got the DVD's I asked for but only only 2 out of the 6 were in the right cases. For example Mrs Brown's Boys Christmas DVD was put into the Despicable Me case and Night At The Museum was put into the Toy Story 2 case. What if these had been gifts, given the time of year? I could've bought Toy Story for a child, and to their dismay they opened it to find Night At The Museum? That wouldn't have gone down well, would it? Thankfully, I double checked when I got home and had to sort them myself. The rest of the staff, however, are very knowledgeable. They're always happy to talk to you about anything and know about everything in store. I've always left feeling satisfied with what I've bought. Rant over. Thank you :) I'd go on but there's a character limit. Oh look, simple manners!

Had an issue with an item I bought and was able to get a refund (in store credit) and bought a Nintendo XL 3DS and it's been working great! I would have given a higher star rating had it not of been for their company policies. In order to change my address I would have to go back to the original store I signed up at. That is absolutely ridiculous as a policy and it makes it difficult for customers who have moved house. As a result I have not been able to update my details and this means the information they hold about me is incorrect. I wish they would allow you to update your details from any store.

Very busy on weekends and inefficient queuing due to understaffing. Staff are friendly and competent. They're happy to talk nerdy with you.

Friendly, efficient & knowledgeable staff. Great place to "recycle"your unwanted CD's, DVD's, games consoles etc, also perfect place to purchase those items.
