Stopped here for a coffee, one of the female staff at a this place is very unpleasant. She gives attitude to customers like we are eating here for free. No wonder this place is empty whilst every other restaurants/cafe/bars around are full. The coffee is beyond mediocre. If you don’t like your job, find another one, don’t take it out on your customers. Don’t come here.
This is an authentic cafe/deli, don't expect highly polished service. It is friendly and relaxed. Not a chain, but owner managed. A good pit stop having conquered primrose hill. More seats hidden in the back.
I am very disappointed in how the delicatessen has deteriorated in the last couple of month. They have change a cosy corner with a few tables, and put some large fridge that almost empty , and some boxes. This lovely delicatessen has turned into a dump. The toilet is a disgrace, and the carpet has not been hoovered for a long time. Some of previous staff were so lovely and friendly, and been replaced by unhelpful staff.
The food was okay but the matcha was absolutely horrendous. The matcha they use is not the right kind. Doesn’t taste good, doesn’t mix with the milk. I’m an avid matcha drinker and i couldn’t drink this one.Food: 2/5
Friendly staff and great,great coffee! I would recommend you grab one on your way to the hill. Their freshly made sandwiches are delicious. They also have lovely croissants and nice cakes.
Go for the toasted fresh Chicken escalope bun with tomatoes, lettuce, and cheese! Nice authentic place at Primrose.
Excellent attentive service whether you eating in or taking it out. Quality food leaning towards natural beautiful ingredients. Definitely has a character!
Sandwiches were good but not great, cakes were really good - the kids ate it all which is a good sign. They forgot one of our orders. Staff were courteous but not really friendly though English may not have been their first language.Food: 4/5
Ordered green tea but received a black tea instead. They refused to fix it and zero apologies. Best avoided. Terrible staff.Food: 1/5
Living in the neighbourhood for a couple of years now, and just started going to this deli after someone recommended the coffee. Have to say it’s very good coffee, along with the baked goods and sandwiches. Not certain why others have commented it’s unfriendly because that couldn’t be further from the truth. Absolutely lovely staff that are so welcoming especially during this pandemic.
