Won’t shop here again having been the go to place for me locally for all things surf/outdoors. This morning I went to claim a gift receipt worth £175 from last Christmas which I was told could be extended. Shocked to hear that head office denied this request today. It really wouldn’t be difficult to issue a gift card for this amount for a long standing customer. Short sighted by the head office team and shows Anne’s cottage losing touch with local people. Hugely disappointed and won’t be shopping from you again.
The staff are a great asset to this store and specifically Darren. He patiently and with great knowledge guided me and my family through our first wetsuit purchases. There are lots of named brands in here, but we felt we were sold what was best for us and we really appreciated that. We will visit again.
Ordered two items online and was very impressed by the items and speed of delivery especially with the pandemic. Also, very helpful customer service team and replied quickly to an email query. Would definitely recommend and use again
Good selection of the latest range of branded clothes. Think Vans, Superdry etc. Friendly staff who are happy to help but will leave you to shop at your own leisure without pressuring you to buy anything. Changing facilities are available but need to be unlocked by staff.
Great surf shops, not cheap but generally great quality and top end brands.

Ann's Cottage is one of our must go to spots when we are down in Falmouth. A great selection of surf gear, from iSUPs, surfboards and boardboards, to wetsuits and all the gear you would need to be on the water in the UK. They also have a really cool selection of surf lifestyle wear, with the addition of the Animal brand this makes my wife very happy too.
We love shopping here, can be a litlle expensive but always have a good selection of clothes
Bought wetsuits in a couple of sizes for my kids with chip and pin last year - when returning the sizes that didn't fit I was told they couldn't refund me as no signature on the back of the card was a new card - I'd forgotten to sign as on hols I couldn't get a new card and the manager suggested I'd be potentially committing fraud to sign it in the shop ?? He got pretty angry with me in front of lots of customers almost shouting to everyone I was asking him to break the law in giving me a refund - on the same card I'd paid with ! It was a very unpleasant experience - I won't be shopping there again !
Should care more about earning their wages and allowing us to buy something 5 minutes before shut than getting home. Or at least don't actively complain about it in front of us!
