My husband and I have recently bought a lovely new home with Snapes and they have been nothing but helpful throughout the whole process. Our allocated agent, Janine, was extremely prompt in responding to all queries via email or phone and gave us regular updates. Even when a large part of our plan changed last minute, Janine was extremely accommodating and supported us to the very end. Could not recommend an estate agent more!
Janine was a godsend throughout our property purchase via Snapes, always at the other end of an email or phone call and really pro-active with chasing up solicitors when needed. Really went above and beyond to keep our tricky purchase on track throughout and pushed through the exchange/ completion dates we'd requested with solicitors in the final hour. We don't plan on moving again any time in the near future but wouldn't go anywhere else if we did and have already recommended to friends!
I used Snapes for my recent house sale, I received an excellent service from all of the team and I would like to thank Julie who was very professional and on the ball at every stage in the process. I would like to express our appreciation to Julie and Hina. We are new comers to UK and we find they are so kind and helpful in assisting us to hunt our house. We are impressed that we just mentioned our needs and expectation for one time only and they remember it without recall from computer record. Even though our English is not good, they are always patient to communicate with us. Moreover, even though Julie was sick, she still replied my emails when there was urgent issue to discuss. They also have rich experience and provided us many professional advise. All these things impressed us that they are different from other estate agents that we met. We have been looking for a house for quite a long time. Special thanks to Hina of Snapes Cheadle Hulme, who is the best agent that we have ever met. She was more than a professional, knowledgeable, caring and helpful agent. She knew about all of our needs and concerns. She gave us professional advices and the information about the area. We are lucky enough to have Hina during our viewings and purchasing. Would highly recommend Snapes with Hina.
We have viewed a lot of properties with different agents and had mixed experiences. With Snapes we viewed a property with Hina Khan. This was a lovely experience. Hina was very friendly, professional and well informed of her duties and througly knowledge about the property. We enjoyed the viewing and discussing the property with Hina. She was enthusiastic, passionate about properties and working for Snapes. She is truly a credit to the team and we look forward to viewing again and having further experiences with Snapes.
I dont even know where to start, honestly the only reason I've given one star is because the lady I spoke to on the phone was nice. We had a viewing booked with this agency, unfortunately due to traffic something out of our control we were going to be late. I called the agency to inform and gave them our eta according to the sat nav, straight away. Our viewing was at 4:20pm and at this point i was updating at 3:55pn the lady i spoke to was lovely. A few more minutes passed and the time increased, so I called again, spoke to the same lady who informed me the agent showing me around would only be able to give me 5 minutes as she had another viewing booked, at this point we were 5 minutes away but were 20 minutes late. We finally got there and i apologised to the agent profusely, she didn't even introduce herself until the third room. Instead to my apology her response was "yeah fine but I only have a few minutes now" she proceeded to run us around this property. It was so disrespectful, baring in mind I was carrying my baby. Because of how much we were being ran around I actually slipped in the garden and sprained my ankle. I felt so disrespected. We were told we had 5 minutes she ran us around so much we were out in 3. It now gets better, I contacted the agency a couple of days later to log a complaint. A gentleman answered the phone, he started with putting the blame on me, stating it was because I was late. I explained to him how I had called and informed the agency as soon as I became aware. I explained I slipped and sprained my ankle, and that the whole experience was disrespectful. He proceeded to tell me that it was not disrespectful and I shouldn't be feeling that way. I was genuinely shocked this gentleman who is on the call hasn't apologised, infact is almost gaslighting telling me I am wrong to feel disrespected. A person who was not there. However he did tell me 5 times, that he is in fact the director to the point I congratulated him as I assumed that's what he was after, some form of validation. When I pointed out that he had told me his position 5 times, he explained I had asked. I had not, I asked to speak to someone senior just for him to tell me he is infact "the director" and then proceeded to drop that in a further 4 more times. I have genuinely never felt so disrespected in my life by someone in hospitality where giving a customer quality service is literally the job. The conclusion of the call was my experience was the way it was because I was late. No apology, no empathy just we blocked out enough time, not our fault you were late. For anyone wondering, no,my ankle isn't better I'm still limping and it's still swollen and scabbed where I grazed it.
