It is so difficult to find good, honest estate agents in Wimbledon but Andrew Purnell have been for me. Helpful when I need them, and friendly and efficient in my experience as a tenant. Annaliese and Tereza come recommended
My Brother and I have just finished our tenancy with A.P for 2.5yrs and I can happily say the overall the experience has been great! The communication and help prior to agreeing the flat and during our tenancy has always been professional, always quick to respond and sorting things whenever they needed to be done. A big thank you to Annaliese from the get-go and also Rachele more recently throughout our tenancy : A boutique agency where quality of service is apparent! Thank you :D
I viewed the property at night and thought all appeared okay. Regrettably when I took up tenancy it dawned on me that I made a massive mistake. The previous tenant had a lot of artwork/pictures on the walls which caused damage everywhere with poorly filled holes etc. The property was in need of a serious refresh/decoration. The wool carpets were savaged by moth larvae. The roller blinds where encrusted with dead moths and various insects. Mould was everywhere within the bathroom and I don’t want to mention the toilet. The previous tenant left the property in a vile state and how can a management company relet like this. Andrew Purnell holds duplicate keys for every property, which enables them to send contractors in, whilst the tenant/tenants are at work. On one occasion a contractor just let herself in to my rented accommodation to conduct a Energy performance certificate under instruction from Andrew Purnell, Luckily my partner was able to intercept the unannounced visit stating she should of given 24 hours notice and shouldn’t just let them self in to the property without prior agreement. I submitted a complaint to Andrew Purnell regarding the matter. The whole situation made me vulnerable regarding anyone entering the property without my permission. After a year I suffered a serious stroke resulting in me having to vacate the property immediately. I lost £2300.00 rent/deposit which enabled the landlord the luxury to refurbish the property at my expense.
Andrew Purnell currently manage my rental property and have done so for just over six years. I applaud their professionalism and dedication to ensure maintenance or tenant requests are managed efficiently to maintain my property’s standard and continue the smooth letting for both myself and my tenants. I highly recommend their 5 star service.
I do nothing but praise and recommend Andrew Purnell. I am currently using their services to both rent a property and rent out mine. As a tenant they are nothing but helpful, attend to any issues quickly and efficiently and are very knowledgeable about the property. As a landlord they found perfect tenants for my property and made the whole experience stress free. I was heavily pregnant when I moved and if it wasn’t for the agents professionalism and efficiency the whole process would have been a lot harder. Thank you To you and all of the Team
