Lovely pub nice indoors and generous spacious beer garden that looks out on to the canal across the road. Nice beer that doesn't taste like it's been watered down like in some places and very reasonable priced. A lovely place to visit for a few drinks on a Sunday day
Although this is a riverside bank, there is no view of the river from the Garden. The outside area is littered with rubbish, and the outside seating area is open - no shading provided. The interior of the pub is very dated.
Only selling lager no bitter or craft bitters
Beaùtiful place, shame it's not got much put into it or run properly, lots of potential.
