Just had an excellent Sunday lunch here. The staff were so attentive and the food was outstanding. I had the vegetarian option which was cheese and spring onion pudding with red onion marmalade. It was so light in texture and full of flavour. So nice to find a restaurant that makes an effort with its veggie option instead of the usual pasta or risotto.!! Will certainly return.
Fantastic place. Amazing food and very kind and polite staff. They didn't force drinks on you to up the price of your bill. The food I had roast beef brisket was perfectly cooked and very tender.
I agree with other compliments. Attentive well trained staff Traditional decor and furnishings. Real tablecloths and napkins. Very enjoyable and I've not had pudding/ dessert yet!
Been here several timed now and never disappointed in this gem of a restaurant. Fab food and reasonable prices. Highly recommended
Superb a true restraunt I the old fashioned style .I did not expect the building as it was hauntingly beautiful as for the food compliments to the chef the highest . young staff faultless...but ..one fault repeat button on music ..10 out of 10
Adore this place. Just perfect!!! Welcoming, friendly and absolutely lovely hostess, comfortable, cosy atmosphere, top notch service, brilliant value and the food is nothing short of Divine!! Favourite restaurant ever, I love Amelie's & highly recommend to everyone!! Xx
Quaint, converted house so dinning rooms different parts of the house, bar a small corner with drinks served from there , bit like a blackpool hotel. Food edible, brisket very popular roast potatoes crispy, cheese board few small peices of cheese to pick from not the whole board, cheesecake nice standard glass of wine cost £4.75 , a family business basic, clean good for Sunday lunch, not sure if looking for a place to be extra special.
