Have always found Alpine Taxis to be punctual, the cars smart and clean; and the drivers very friendly and courteous. This morning, my driver went above and beyond - going out of his way to return my phone, that I had left in his car. Thank you so much!
Did not have a good experience with this company. After a 8 hour shift from work I was dropped at a total wrong place that was 10 miles away from the address I gave them, still got charged £50 for a location I didn’t want to end up at. Had a drink with me which the driver was not happy about and got told to not spill it, well don’t use your own car for taxi service then. Using his phone whilst driving as well and going 15 mph over the speed limit. Got quoted the £50 to drop me off at my house but instead got dropped off somewhere I didn’t know at all and said it wasn’t his fault. His words were ‘the postcode takes you the long way but the address takes you the right way’ well obviously not! Also because it was the wrong place and it was my last £50 I had to walk 3 hours home when I am 6 months pregnant with twins after an 8 hour shift. His name was naim and his registration number was NR12 AJA in a silver Mercedes.
Good reliable service, nice cars and pleasant drivers, especially Jav.
Worst taxi experience I’ve ever had. Car was knackered to the point where it could only do 40mph on National Speed limit roads, so it took ages. Driver didn’t know where he was going, was late arriving and didn’t seem to be able to drive properly couple of near misses. At the end of it all I was charged £40 - for a journey that usually costs £25. Bad experience all round.
After a night out my daughter called Alpine taxis for a lift home, later she found her phone was missing. Calling Alpine her phone had been found, after checking she was the owner she was allowed to collect it . She was dealt with great curtesy, refusing any reward. It goes without saying she will always be a customer
Very rude and uncivilized. You mention that you want to pay by card and then he says that you have to take out cash and you are in a hurry and late for the interview. Ugly and disappointingService: Limousines
Ended phone on me because he sent the cab to wrong place. Then said there isn't any others in thr area then just put the phone down. He could of said it will be a 30 minute wait for the next one unprofessional cnxt
I've used this taxi company for years, they're always on time and very informative on when the driver will arrive, staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming, they are always helpful and good to have a chat too. Always apologetic when they have either no cabs or a long wait. Best can servise in Burton and 100% my go to cab servise.
Not even worth one star! Absolutely awful service. The driver phoned me asking if I "could come out earlier" -"my boss wants me to get the jobs out earlier" . He then repeatedly told me that I shouldn't use the app to book! When I asked him why the company had an app the couldn't answer me! ! To top it off the driver had the audacity to moan at me as I hadn't got the correct change! This company needs to learn some manners!!! I will definately not be using them again.
