I used these regularly to take my son to school. Most days they are late and some even take the most congested route which takes longer and a few times he's only just made it. Today it didn't turn up at all and it was because "somebody else got in my taxi" they claimed that wasn't their fault it went to the wrong address. When I questioned this, he became rude and told me to use another firm. Absolutely shocking firm and will never use them again.
I have just been picked up by probably the friendliest driver I’ve ever met, made me feel very welcome and is a great ambassador of this company. Would highly recommend this firm to all family, friends and strangers!
Ordered a taxi for a specific time, driver turns up ten minutes early and calls so we tell him we're not ready and he says "find another taxi then" and hangs up leaving us hanging. Incredibly rude given it was their mistake. Don't bother. Edit: the reply below from 5 Ten is not only a very very late response, it's absolutely false. 5 Ten ought to stop treating their customers with such disdain.
Car 59 arrived in a timely fashion, made good conversation through the journey and got me home safe. Highly recommended.
Never again! Completely unreliable! We booked a taxi from Burton to Derby last night, and a return at 11.30pm. We got there ok but the return journey was a complete disaster. We called at 11.30pm to make sure they knew where to pick us up and were told he was still on the way, and would be 15-20 mins, stuck in traffic at 11.30pm!!, we were outside in -3 degrees freezing! 20 mins came and went, so I phoned again to be told he would be another 10 mins, at which point I said that was not good enough and he put the phone down on me. We were left stranded so ended up getting home with a Derby firm that came to the rescue. I will never use this firm again. And in response to the reply I got to my review, I booked a return at the same time I booked the outbound taxi , I even had a text message as confirmation with the date and time. At no point did anyone mention I needed to pay in advance for the return. Not the booking person, nor the text confirmation, nor the driver that took us to Derby. Waste of time.
