Have used Alpha cars a long time now and am a regular however lately have been turning up late. They need to sort their app out If its not working then take it down, on the whole always been happy with the service but can't keep turning up late, can allow 5, 10 minutes but 20, 30 minutes is unacceptable. Don't usually moan but not happy on my son's 2nd day of a new job being late.

Jav was a lovely driver super chatty and friendly! He got me home safely in the snow! Only chose this taxi company as it was an emergency but I will definitely use it again!

I used to use Alpha all the time to get to and from work. However, after being told on a couple of occasions that they had no car to pick me up (despite the taxi being pre booked the previous day) I decided to change companies. All was going well with no problems from my new taxi provider, until I discovered that Alpha had bought out the company! Today I booked a taxi home from work as I usually do, only this time I was forced to use Alpha because my taxi company's number goes straight through to Alpha's switchboard since the buy out. What a total disaster! They kept me waiting outside for 50 minutes in sub zero temperatures! I called the switchboard numerous times to find out what was happening, and all I got was some lame excuse about previous bookings causing delays. I never even got an apology! Now I'm sitting here almost an hour late arriving home, feeling ill from exposure to the freezing temperatures, and wondering how it is possible for a taxi company as big as Alpha to find such difficulty in providing a reliable service. Really not happy

Did not turn up at time booked - called to see if they were still coming to which they said 5 minutes. I waited another 15 minutes - still no sign. Called again - another 10 minutes they said. Guess what...they didn't turn up so I called AGAIN. Cancelled this time after one of the staff was rude and had the audacity to say "another 10 minutes" and who then put the phone down on me because he didn't want to hear why I wasn't happy. And hour later (when we were at our destination), they message saying a taxi was on its way, followed by another message saying they were sorry we weren't at home to use the service that had arrived for us!! Will NOT even try using again and would never recommend.
