Unsure why there is so many negative comments regarding Elite. I started using them as a backup to Alpha when getting to work. Ended up using primarily Elite because of their drastically lower prices and friendly service. I'm yet to encounter a stressful driver. Really nice service so far! Thanks! Charlie
Not reliable!! Booked the services of elite cars pick up town Basingstoke. . The driver arrived 5 mins before requested time and sent a text message to me say it had arrived. Because I have a walking disability I Called driver to say I was on my way. As I feared The driver may leave earlier than booked. The driver did not pick up my call. I then called office to ask them to call driver I was on my way. When I got at the requested location, 1 min later than requested time. There was no driver. I called the office again. Who said the driver waited for 5 mins and then went and Canx my booking. This was a complete lie as I had evidence of arrival time and phone calls.
Unsure why so many negative reviews? never had an issue with lateness, always prompt and efficient. FAR CHEAPER than Alpha, who have bought up all of basingstoke Taxis almost.
Useless. Rang a good hour ahead of time middle of the day. Told 12:20pm. Rang at 1230pm to see where it was. It's on its way... Then 1240pm still not here and get a text just dispatched. Very late for a meeting. Do not give them your business.
Terrible service - really gone downhill! First driver preaching anti-immigrant opinions to me... 2nd Taxi didn't collect me in the night, no apology. Rude customer service. Won't be using again!
Absolutely atrocious service by the lady on the phone- taxi went to the wrong place and she claimed, at 9pm, that the next taxi was at 12:30! Shame because they used to be OK for airport runs but she was very rude. Won't be using again!
I booked a cab at 8 45am and I am quite impressed that Elite Cars are able to make it to offer service. Thanks
Never use this company. Needed a train to station which never arrived. Rang back to be told they had overbooked. When I complained the answer was whatever and being hung up on
470 have ruined the good service of elite, they are always late no more !
Run by Alpha cars who are very rude
