Story

After a long and successful career in the industry, I opened our very first branch in West Wickham during 1998. We rapidly gained an impressive reputation for client satisfaction and this proved to be the strong foundation for the business we needed and as a result were able to expand to Shirley in 2002 and Beckenham in 2005.

I am extremely proud to say that all three branches have thrived since, despite the awful market conditions we saw in 2007 and beyond. I put this down to a dedicated, hardworking team of professionals that communicate extremely effectively with our clients and ensure that the best possible results are always achieved – I cannot praise them highly enough and regularly receive thank you letters from delighted clients.

We have also expanded the range of services we provide which, in addition to Sales and Lettings, now include Mortgage Broking, Block Management, Energy Performance Certificates and the preparation of Inventories – all with our own in-house staff to ensure the quality of the service to our clients.

From the moment Max Allen answered my first telephone call to confirmation that our sale had completed, the Allen Heritage team were superb, professional and helpful. During the course of our sale we worked with various members of the team who demonstrated sensitivity and being up to date with developments. We had good advice and the sale made good time with Allen Heritage going "above and beyond" to assist some elements of the chain with on line applications. Thank You. We do not live in the area although if we did, we would definitely use Allen Heritage again ... ah ... just remembered we said we'd never move again ...
We moved into a property in 2019 for which Allen Heritage were the letting agents. Denny Ferrara was our point of contact and he guided us through the check in, the taking of the deposit and the contract signing. The house was an old property and needed a certain amount of upkeep. We kept on good terms with the property owner until the plaster on the living room ceiling fell in. We were lucky to escape injury and our dog was also very lucky! The owner decided the property was too much for him to manage and put it in the hands of Allen Heritage to manage. By now, they had a decent report system in place for repairs. I would report a fault and Denny would make arrangements to have the fault put right. In June of this year, the owner served us with a Section 21. We managed to find a new place and move out well within the time allowed us according to the Section 21. Denny arranged all our check out documentation and ensured we did not pay more rent than we had to. And, as owners always try to claw as much of the deposit out of you, Denny supported us to ensure a fair compromise was reached. He is an absolute gent.
Max has been incredibly helpful throughout the entire process of my mother purchasing her new home. From the very beginning, he provided clear and honest advice, helping us navigate through each step with ease. Max has always been available to answer any questions and kept us informed at every stage. His local knowledge was invaluable in making informed decisions as well as going above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly. Max’s professionalism and dedication made what could have been a stressful experience much more manageable. Having reached a time in life when downsizing is a desirable option we were more than a little nervous approaching the Estate Agent for the first time. We need not have worried for at Allen Heritage we were warmly received, and treated with great courtesy and understanding of our hopes and requirements. This kind of reception was very reassuring, and we are grateful to the staff there for their excellent service.
Kim made the whole process of selling our plot of land very easy and the process was seamless. She dealt with every aspect of the process with professionalism and liaised with both sets of solicitors. I would absolutely use Allen Heritage again, strongly recommend.
My wife and I have been a tenants with Allen Heritage for 3 years now, it was a rocky start however, Rob our landlord stepped in and was very helpful. Ever since it has been a pleasant experience. When it comes to regular safety checks and upkeep, Allen Heritage is on the all.
