Alison and her loyal and professional team are delighted to welcome you to the surgery, conveniently located opposite the town library and on the ground floor. We aim to to provide high quality dental care in an inviting environment and at affordable price.

We have tried to establish a practice that provides the kind of dentistry that patients would really appreciate and want to come to - one that would seriously consider patients' worries and concerns, provide treatment choices and attend to problems quickly and courteously. Our practice has a reputation for running on time and providing appointments at short notice wherever possible.

Alison is delighted to also offer non-surgical rejuvenation treatments such as Botox and Dermal fillers. These are treatments which can reduce or remove lines and wrinkles. This can be done in the surgery, on their own or at the same time as a dental appointment. The treatments can add volume to the face and give the face a more youthful appearance. Dermal fillers can be safely used to plump up lips to make them more youthful. We use a full range of products including the full range of Juvederm and Restylane dermal fillers. Our Botox and fillers are directly obtained from Allergan and have a long and proven safety record.

Alison keeps up to date with new techniques and regularly attends postgraduate courses and conferences. Her practice is registered with the Care Quality Commission and she is a member of the British Dental Association.

We are happy to offer lunch-time and early morning appointments and we offer a free initial consultation.

I was welcomed by the loveliest pair of ladies, who clearly seamlessly have worked together for years. I had a thorough explanation of the procedure before we started. Very professional, clean and friendly atmosphere. I had a follow up appointment to make sure the procedure done was nothing short of perfect. I value Alison's high standards and pride in her work. Exceeded my expectations of the results, and would thoroughly recommend.

Wonderful service, very friendly staff. Always does what is best for the client. I have had nothing but compliments about how well I look. People know I look good but it’s so natural they can’t quite put a finger on why!

I’ve been visiting Alison for years and would really recommend this practice. Being a nervous patient I really feel at ease here as much as I can be at the dentist! Alison and Louise are professional, kind, friendly and really put my mind at rest. Appointments have always been on time and I’m greeted with warm smiles behind the masks on arrival. Truly fantastic service, I broke my denture on Friday morning, phoned at 9 am, dropped denture in at 10am and collected Monday 10am. This, I have to say was amazing. I've been a regularish patient of Alison & Louise for some years now, and as someone who suffers with a serious lifelong phobia of dentists to the point I've needed sedation before arriving they as a team do a great job of calming me down. Cannot rate them highly enough. Thank you both and see you in a couple of weeks for my check up.

I have been going for regular dental check-ups with Alison and Louise since 1986 and have always been impressed with how efficiently they work together as a Professional Team!  You are always welcomed with a cheery smile and they both listen attentively and provide reassurance when you are feeling a bit unsure or nervous. They have a way of putting you at ease and providing a calming influence, as well as having a great sense of humour and positive attitude.  I enjoy having a sociable chat whenever I arrive and always feel there is time to relax before my consultation.  On arrival you are welcomed in to a homely atmosphere in the Waiting Room with fresh flowers sitting in the window.  There is a comfy and cosy sofa whilst you wait, although appointments always run efficiently and on time. The Surgery is meticulously organised with excellent hygiene standards.  I have recently contacted the Surgery urgently as a result of a chipped tooth and suspected abscess and I was able to arrange an appointment at short notice, which gave me such relief and reassurance!  I always feel in safe hands when undergoing treatment by Alison and Louise.  Before examinations, Alison asks thorough health questions and is happy to provide any information or explanations.  Over the years, Alison has provided me with excellent advice regarding general dental care and maintenance.  She has also referred me to a Specialist when I required urgent treatment to preserve my gum health.  Due to her professional expertise in making this decision,  my gum health has greatly improved, for which I am very grateful! I went to see Dr Alison in April. First time visit. I looked tired, worn out and quite frankly all of my 59 years of age. I have just had my second visit because I've been so thrilled with the results. I didn't want to look like a deer stuck in headlights, in the middle of a wind-tunnel, so opted for a natural fresh-faced look. I can honestly say that I look 10 years  younger and feel fantastic! Dr Alison and her assistant Louise  are professional, give honest expected  outcomes and are so friendly  that you relax completely knowing instinctively you're in good hands. I can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you  I do hope I have awarded 5 stars here as first time reviewing.

Has been my family dentist for 25 years. Always really good, especially when have to call for emergency appointment or more urgent matters. Alison is so lovely and professional.

I visited Alison a few years back but have not yet returned - basically because of my agoraphobia/ocd  difficulties.  Now that I am having some teeth troubles I must try to see her again, as home visits are probably not an option.  . She made me feel very comfortable and did everything she could to make things pleasant.  A lovely lady with a nice sense of humour too! I doubt you could find better!

I can hightly recommend Alison she is very experienced and knowledgeable and clearly passionate about her work. She talks through every procedure, and I'm grateful for understanding every step of the process. She's a very warm and engaging professional and between her and Louise I always feel at ease when I visit

I first met Alison three years ago after a very bad experience with a previous dentist. I initially contacted the surgery via telephone and spoke to Alison. My first impressions were, what a lovely lady!!! Alison took time to listen to my fears and was very sympathetic. This led me to book an appointment with her straight away. The service I received whilst at the surgery was outstanding. Alison is very thorough and professional and most importantly a very friendly and approachable person. Although I now live an hours drive from the surgery, I continue to attend for check ups and dental work as the service I receive far outweighs the journey. Keep up the great work!!!
