Got everything I went for. I've been shopping there for a couple of years now, and there are a few items I still have to buy elsewhere, but easy to swap almost everything I'd usually buy. Found some items better than the branded alternative e.g. soup & cereal. Fresh fruit tends to go really quickly on a Saturday. If you go after 2 pm, you can't always get what you want.
Worst customer service and experience from the Saturday night staff. when I got to self checkout, I stood and check which self checkout machine accept cash then walk towards the machine. Staff immediately ran and stood right behind me to monitor my scanning for every single items.nBefore I approach the self checkout, there were 3 customers doing scanning, She didnt monitor any customers and she was chatting with her colleague. Because those customers are white. As an asian, when I approached the self checkout, she stopped the chat and immediately ran behind me and stared at my screen. When I tried to pay the item and turn around asked her for assistance as she literally stood right behind me. She turn around and looked away, as she thought she's not standing there or she thought she's transparent. I called her again and she's unwillingly to assist me. Eventually, I paid for the item and left the store with the worst racially profile encounter from the shop assistant.nWill defo let all of my friends know about this experience from this store and recommend them not to shop in this store
Aldi one of the best outlets to pass by for all your needs. They are amazing with their fruits and veggies selections and certainly amazing prices. But also they lack the variety of other competitions example Tesco and so on but that may be due to space constraints and so on. Also they may be carrying and focusing only on fast moving products. I loved the fact of initiation of solar panels being installed on their roofs and also how can I forget they have great space for parking.
Since they have put self scan till in the shop is going down hill . How do they expect you to put a full trolley of shopping through a self scan as apparently all the staff apart from poor person on the shop floor were doing staff training. I think self scan till are good if you are doing a Small amount of shopping and certainly save time but not with a trolley load their is just not enough space
How come every time I go to Lidl. It asks me how was Aldi
