Good prices. Held up at Tills by annoying customer on front. Huge trolley full of shopping and just chatting away to the customer behind us in the queue. No intention of hurrying herself! Not ALDIs fault obviously!
It's an Aldi, pretty standard, well stocked, clean and tidy with parking
Except the staff having chats on headsets instead of engaging with customers.
Normally, I don't shop at this place, went their at the behest of my child who wanted to purchase some cakes, we picked up only 4 items but there was no separate queue for baskets or less than 10 items. The store was busy and there were long queues and though they opened a couple of extra tills, the queues were long, a kind lady with a trolley full of stuff allowed us to go ahead of her thinking it's only 4 items, when our turn came at the till, the person suddenly decided to move away and do random unnecessary tasks such as collecting baskets, unnecessarily adjusting veggies when there was us waiting at the till with a queue behind us, after some time someone else came and joined at the till to process our purchase. I Normally don't think like this but couldn help but think if this behaved something to do with we looking 'different' than rest of the shoppers, somehow we and our time was not seen as important by the person at the till...the kind lady who let us go ahead also noticed and understood what was going on...
Terrible. No vegetarian sandwichs. Just rows and rows of meat.
I love all of the random middle aisle products. I bought 6 Reed diffusers! Smell lovely and such a good price. Nice wide aisles, bright, clean store.
Sick of no customer service at the check out as the staff are to busy talking to.each other over there headsets than talking to customers .Damn right ignorant Lild here i come
Aldi is Aldi I just want to say I don't like staff chatting to each other on head sets. Customers are not asking staff for help when they need it. I was near a tall young staff member when a customer asked me to reach an item, I glanced at him, then she explained, I didn't like to interrupt him. Aldi I get you are trying to keep staff but your customers need some of their attention. They're not chatting to customers whilst checking out - personally I don't care but a lot do - but saying
Nice fair size store, with plenty of on site parking, somewhat peculiar check out, with limited room to stack and pack. Otherwise, no problems.
Shop in Aldi regularly, still good value considering the global price rises!! Tewkesbury is a nice store, helpful, friendly staff. Car parking can sometimes be a problem, far too small!!!
