I really love the how the dresses fit and alway a a lovely quality. The lady I saw today called Sue in the Aldeburgh high street store was brilliant and she was telling me that the dresses have names. Ie Faye and that every year they may bring the same dress out but have a different pattern. I was so pleased to hear this. She was very friendly and it was lovely to see a shop attendant happy in their role. I wish all other stores would adapt this work ethic. It’s really lovely and makes shopping a real pleasure.
Sad to say that whilst the staff are nice and so is the shop the awful way I was treated is a warning to others. Do not get anything delivered . 3 weeks 3 days ago I spent a couple of hours looking for a dress, and finally found one in FATFACE whist in Aldeburgh. I arrived without one of my suitcases so I found a dress but the colour was wrong. My size wasn’t there but there was another colour. Hey said the lady you can buy both and then we’ll see which you like and I’ll refund you. I bought and paid for 4 dresses & paid for store delivery as I only had 1 dress with me for 2 weeks. FatFace never delivered the orders paid for. …. 3 weeks and Evri]] still have not delivered my dresses despite being told you have them. Apparently your directors met Evri but no one ever got back to me. I asked every day if my dresses arrived. In the end I came home. We will refund you they just said. In all this time despite 20 personal visits into the store / phone calls I have only had 1 email above No follow up. No apology. No thought to keep me informed. So I have 2 dresses I don’t want so wear and 2 still not here. I had to wash my dress at night and dry it because I didn’t have anymore budget & FatFace] had my money in their account …. The sales assistants as it turned out actually knew Evri were dreadful are are alway apparently appalling in #Aldeburgh Is it me? Or have large corporates just become so disgustingly complacent about customers that they don’t even have the basic communication systems in place to treat people with respect? #
