It's such a shame to see this place going downhill. The staff try their best, but there's not enough of them to cope, especially at peak time like on Saturday when we went. One person on the bar when there's several people ordering drinks and food is not enough. Same goes for the new carvery, where my parents had to wait 15 minutes to get served. Our non-carvery meals were finished by the time they managed to get back to the table. Pub needs to get more staff in there, as it is a nice pub and the food is good, but you can see where they have tried to cut costs and it is impacting the customer service.

This place used to be great. So sad to see that it now is not even capable of getting orders correct; missing certain parts of meals off completely and employing very young staff clearly not trained to do their job. Since I noticed they were also very quiet when we went in the middle of a Sunday afternoon I guess I'm not the only one who feels this place is being run into the ground.

Newly opened as a carvery and full option menu. We made online reservation and were greeted warmly and shown to our table. Ample room for 4 adults/4 children. All the adults had carvery which is available in 3 sizes. The meat was really good and plenty of veg choice. Will visit again. One point lost as we had to wait quite a while for table to be cleared before dessert

Lovely and healthy nutritious food. Friendly staff that are only to happy to help with specific food requirements. Always happy to advise on any allergies too.

I didn't eat. We went to the soft play. It smells like poo as soon as you walk in there's barely enough seating for the number of children aloud in. It's run by kids who don't have the social skills to be on the front desk and don't listen to what you ask for (got a Cappuccino when asked for a Latte) kids live the play. I hate the smell!!
