Pub in centre of town. Used to be a traditional country pub then expanded by taking over sweet shop next door and didn't really improve just got a bit bigger. Nothing special but cheapish for Surrey. Staff vary in customer service skills. Some good, others just not bothered unless you are a regular! Usually shows sport so expect to find crowds if football on. Food very cheap and normally daily deals available. A few steps to access and have to pass by outside seating area which is where the smokers hang out.

Very well priced and food is good. Did not have to wait long and steaks cooked properly too order. All the bar staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely will be returning.

Nice, cosy pub to watch the game. Food is either dry or too oily but definitely a great social space.

Great food, steak & ale pie topped with cheese,served with chips or mash & veg . £4.99 on Mondays. Good pint of London Pride as well.

Phoned at around 5 to book a table, told should be fine and took down name. Arrived, very busy, crowded, no clear signs where to sit or ask for table. Admittedly was a Saturday evening with sports showing on the t.v. Went to chippy round the corner instead!
