Amazing food and outstanding service. I cannot recommend this place enough! Nothing is ever too much hassle and the food is always beautifully presented. If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would! We genuinely love it here
The new owners can cook but they struggle with getting the food out in a sensible time. We spent 2 hours here and just ordered a starter and a main with bread each. The owner? seemed pretty annoyed about being asked when we might get our food. If you are going to make people wait for an hour before getting their mains, let them know when they arrive, they might have other plans. The food was great, fantastic even, and having replaced Ahmeds it had to be but they need to work on their service. Both in terms of paying attention to customers wanting something it wasn't just our table getting annoyed and being able to deliver that food faster. I would add that they could do with a better system for taking orders and that then being saved to a bill. It took almost 20 minutes for us to get our bill and when it came, the lady taking the payment arrived with a phone and an app she clearly didn't know how to use. Card machines aren't expensive guys, get one. I really enjoyed my meal but I left annoyed at the experience. Both the time it took to get served our food and the quite aggressive way the guy who was clearly in charge dealt with things. Mate, your food is lush. Just chill and maybe get some more staff because you can't do everything yourself and it's pissing off your customers
I don’t often post reviews, but I had to with this great place. Previously Ahmeds masala café, renamed to house of flavours, I used to come here all the time years ago… And had to try again even though I live 3 miles away. The food was fantastic, delivered within an hour on a busy Saturday night, and tastes absolutely great. I would highly recommend…! Well done team at house of flavours!
Delicious food, decent portion size and friendly staff. If you're reading this review, you should definitely come eat here.Food: 5/5
Hi me and my wife had a dinner at house of flavours last night and I can't express enough how mouth watering the food was we both had chicken wings and lamb chops for starters and flavours just run right through you then had chicken tawa which the owner recommended and must say hats off to him we will definitely be back withing 2weeks for more mouth watering food enjoyed it and the staff and owner went out there way to make me and my wife's first experience a dream thanku guys you will be definitely seeing us again!!
Went for the first time as part of the Eat out to help out scheme and we already said that we will be coming back. I often just default to a chicken Korma but I was determined to try something new and chose the Haandi lamb and was very happy with it. The peshwari naan and keema rice were delicious as well. There are only a handful of tables so if you are coming from further away and want to eat here you should probably book a table in advance just in case.
This restaurant is conveniently located very close to where I live so I thought would give it a go. I told the waiter that I came with an open mind and asked for suggestions of their specialty dishes and what I should order. He said all the dishes on the menu are their specialty and all would be good - a classic mistake to make. So I ordered a lamb curry dish can’t remember which one and it was just an average curry, nothing special.
Bruh just don’t go here if you are Indian and you know what Indian food taste like There butter chicken is more sweet then a chocolate , in the plate of spring role they just serve 2 Pieces and which are actually samosa not spring role and other dishes were to sweet or no taste and they took around 200 pounds for this horrific experience . They took around 1.5 hours to make the food and I am sure the cook doesn’t know anything about Indian food
Amazing food and service. We love the lemon rice and cheese naan so much our kids love the food very much as well.
Ordered a takeaway unfortunately it was late and two popadoms short however the food was excellent house of flavours is the right choice of name to describe what we had one of the better curry's we have had for a very long time, will order from here again and will go visit the restaurant can't add photos as we ate the lot
