Fantastic restaurant. Cosy and staff very welcoming. The owner was absolutely brilliant and knows how to make customers feel special. Me and my wife felt like Royalty and were given best service we have ever had in a restaurant. Now for the food… wow the food is wonderful tasty fresh with large portions and lots of choice. Cannot recommend this lovely little Bristol gem enough. I would like to thank manager personally for making our night in Bristol very special.
This restaurant is run by very lovely people! The staff will welcome you with warmth and they have good humour. They know the menu well and able to offer recommendations according to your interest and palate. The food is generally good, although the “spicy” curry wasn’t as hot as I expected it to be but I guess understandably they have to accommodate the British palate.
Wow!! What an experience the staff were superb. Really authentic Indian cuisine. Really made us very welcome. If you are looking for a place to eat where you can experience the true flavours of India. This is your place. Made a true fuss of the son on his bday x
Our last trip to Bristol and finally get to this Curry House. Just getting a takeaway but helpful staff offering a walk through the menu. The vegetarian platter was good, paneer is a favourite of so another dish with it was taken. Ordered in person quite soon after they opened and it was already busy. The poppadoms and pickles were superb with sylheti lime giving a citric punch. Would return for an eat in.
Simply just amazing food and very friendly and welcoming service. Checked in on all the meals and ensured we had everything up to standard. Would highly recommend the Tandoori King Prawn sizzler
The owner greeted us like long lost friends and made us very welcome. The food was really delicious & great value. I would rate the restaurant as one of the best curry houses that I’ve visited. Truely 5 stars! Vegetarian options: Excellent choices available
Delicious, though the spicy section of the menu wasn’t very spicy at all. Very uncommon for Indian cuisine, but perhaps they assumed we wanted the “watered down” version… we will certainly be back and clarify in the future that we actually want the spicy dish to come spicy :
Tasty food but small restaurant so make sure to book a table. Even though full still allowed us to do a takeaway order which was tasty. Writing this review to remind myself to go more often.
The garlic chilli chicken is one of my favourite meals, spicy, incredible flavour, although they changed it recently and it's still great but the old one was better. My favourite place to eat in Bristol and the owner is very friendly.
I am lucky enough to live right round the corner from this phenomenal establishment! Have been so many times I can't remember, this restaurant is definitely in my top 5 in Bristol and trust me I've been to many! Neelesh et al serve up exquisite Indian cuisine in an intimate atmosphere and provide a very personal Indian dining experience. Will continue to frequent this fine restaurant.
