Not bothered... Called them to become a new patient, the person on the phone gave me a great first impression. Hence the review.

I recently re registered..Handed in my filled in form etc. I ramg to make an appointment as I have constant on and off toorhache. They couldnt find my details.or my form. Was given a new patient appointment in 10 weeka time and told to ring 111. 
Went to see an emergency dentist who said I needed to see my own dentist as soon as possible foe a deep clean and need to see a dental hygeinist. I rang and was told theu dont have a hygeinist and I still have to wait til June..Pain advice?? Ring 111. 
Im.dumbfounded....and in constant pain which only they can sort out.

New to the area and in pain due to a loose filling. Called the practice and booked in, only a 2 week wait, which I didn't think was that bad although I was in pain, but it gave me time to get half day of work.

I received a SMS the week of my appointment, excellent!
I received a call to remind me the day before my appointment, excellent!

Arrived for my appointment and signed my form and took a seat. 10 minutes passed and was told the nurse isn’t in yet..I said no problem is she coming by foot or road, they said bus, that’s ok the roads are clear from snow so I am happy to wait..5 minutes passed and they said they have received a call from the “head office” to say that the nurse would be a further 45 minutes! 

They offered to see me later that morning, I said ok lets do that….THEN the dentist pipes up and says the compressor broke yesterday so they cannot carry out any treatment that may require drilling. I said yes, I will as I have a loose filling and they said wont be able to do that!

Why didn’t they call me in the morning to say the nurse is running late and come in later?
Why didn’t they call me the day before to tell me the compressor broke instead of confirming my appointment? 

Why didn’t the dentist know about the pain I was in after explaining it all on the phone?

Dr Altaf Hussain principle dentist of Advanced Dental Care needs to make some serious changes to the staff here, they have a duty of care and they certainly in my opinion could not care less. 

Wasted 60 minutes driving and half days holiday. 
I would certainly consider another dental practice.

I was referred by the NHS and really felt like I got second class treatment. I was sent in and out of the treatment room three times. For a practice that specialises in people who are phobic of dentists, there are a LOT of pictures of rotting teeth around the waiting room.
Not a pleasant experience, and I don't normally mind visiting the dentist...
