Anyone that knows me will understand my utter terror of going to a dentist, then it became an emergency, these people at Harrogate dental care have been utterly fantastic, from my first appointment, to get my denture plate fitted, I've felt at ease, calm and very well looked after. I cannot praise them enough. Definitely on my Christmas card list.
I had an emergency appointment due to severe toothache and needing the tooth removing. I am absolutely petrified of the dentist and suffer with a severe form of anxiety so this was a huge trigger for me, Tom Pearson & nurse Suzanne made me feel so at ease, it was painless & I couldn’t be more thankful for them both making it as pleasant experience as it could be. Thank you both, if you’re a nervous patient, I highly recommend Tom & Suzanne.
I got an emergency appointment on the same day for my twelve-year-old daughter. Staff were very professional. My daughter is terrified of dentists and Tom Pearson was very patient and soon made her feel at ease. Nothing was too much trouble. Nice spacious waiting room and nice reception staff. I can’t recommend enough. Thank you all at Harrogate Dental Care.
It took me 4 hours on the phone and a 1 hour drive to get here. I can't eat or drink properly, and the dentist told me he wouldn't do the permanent work I need because it was an emergency NHS dental appointment. If the NHS would provide me with a dentists that doesn't have a 4 year waiting list of course I would be going to them. Absolutely awful NHS service.
This place is dangerous for people to get fillings and/or get teeth removed. Went to the dental clinic, looked at outdated x-rays and was numbed only to find out that they got the wrong teeth. Absolutely unacceptable and do not recall a good experience with this clinic. Is this the usual standard for all patients? If considering to come here DO NOT this is a very unprofessional and dangerous place.
Appalling ‘care’ from senior dentist. I was the first appointment of the day, the dentist walks in 40 minutes late, has a long, casual chat with the reception staff about their evening and made no apology for the lateness of his arrival or attempt to hurry to my appointment - no appreciation that this pushed back me getting to work and I was not paid for the time I was not there. During the appointment itself, I was left in tears because he said a routine job I have had done many many times by other dentists was not possible, so he bodged the work, leaving me with a sharp ridge of composite on my tooth - he was incredibly rude and arrogant and left me feeling very vulnerable that he was doing poor work on my front teeth and there was nothing I could do to stop him - if he wasn’t capable of doing a simple piece of work on my tooth to the same standard that others have done before, he should have said so. Would avoid at all costs and not recommend.
Sent here today via the 111 service. Can’t thank them enough. I drove 90mins to get there and I was in and out within ten mins. I had a painful tooth extracted and it was a very pleasant experience. Staff very friendly. Thank you
When I first visited Harrogate Dental Care following a long period of illness I was seen by Dr Mahreen & Sofina. On my first appointment I was so ashamed I cried. Both of these wonderful people gave me every reassurance that they would help remedy my problems. I was seen very quickly for my second appointment, and even quicker on my third. The quality of Dr Mahreens’s work is nothing short of superb. Sofina is also a wonderful Dental Nurse who has been kind, compassionate and a delight to be under the care of. Dr Mahreen is a superb dentist, in my 50 years she is one of the most professional and efficient dentists I have had the pleasure of being treated bye. Harrogate and Dental Care deserves a 10 out of 10, for service, for professionalism, and for patient care. I extend this to the back office staff and the front of house staff, what’s wonderful, cheerful, helpful and courteous team! it really does restore one’s faith. I cannot speak highly enough of the service I received which was on this occasion on the NHS, I feel very lucky, and I am extremely happy to have my smile restored once again . Thank you to all of you! I will return for some private work. I highly recommend Harrogate Dental Care as both a private and NHS dentist, and I encourage you to register with them as soon as possible. I cannot recommend these people enough, they are nothing short of spectacular! 10/10 on every level! Brilliant!
I had an infection and it was excruciating. Called these guys and the next day 3 teeth out . No pain and the care from Tom the dentist was amazing cannot recommend these guys enough. 5
Honestly great experience dc Hassnain Hamid has a lot of experience. He makes sure that the patient is feelin comfortable Great,friendly dentist,very happy with my treatment. Great to have my smile back. Thanks you
