Stunning golf course with great views of London, buy course guide as ravines will trap you if you don't know they're there. Superb course in UK top 100, 2nd was a temporary when we visited and lots of tree work going on with large GUR areas on most holes. A real gem despite this.. will definitely play again .
One of my favourite courses played ever.That is how much I enjoyed this. Such a beautiful course that will test your golfing abilities. Lots of very interesting holes. You need to hit the ball long and straight off the tee as thick grass and Heather awaits if you are not.so high handicappers its not for you. Favoirite holes were 5 and 17. Not a massive fan off starting with a par 3 but on the whole this is a course that if be happy to play again and again and again. You must play this course if you get the chance a great game of golf.
Fantastic day up at the Addington. Course played superbly despite it being mid-February. One thing I'd note is all the staff were incredibly friendly. From the club-shop where we were given a mini-briefing on the story of the club, the work being carried out and the ambitions to the future, through to the half-way house. A credit to the club. Though the highlight has to be my friend managing to duff his tee shot on the par-3 17th so badly is whacked off the bridge straight up into the air, finding its way onto the green. I only wish i'd been filming! Would definitely come back again.
Best golf course around this area..
9 holes good for practice, 18 holes 2 of them , one of normal another long course
This is a decent course and has improved since new course manager has come in. Fairways are in better condition and the green speeds are more sensible. Have visited a number of times and find the pro in the shop a little rude and disinterested in me. Not sure what ive done to put him off. Food and service in bar is top draw and a must after a round.
The investment is starting to pay off, was a pile of poo 5 years ago but at £125 a head the green fees are way way too high for this area. No wonder it’s always empty!
Great course despite the work being carried out. Fairways, greens and tee boxes in amazing condition. Staff in the pro shop and bar very friendly and helpful.
Had a lesson with Ben, Great guy who immediately recognised the problem with my back swing and helped my tweak it to getca much crisper strike.. I will be working on it! Thanks Ben
I had a Captain's Away day at The Addington yesterday. We were all looked after very well, the food was lovely only surpassed by the service. The course was in great condition and everyone really enjoyed themselves with many of the guys and girls stating that they would like to return and play The Addington again. Thankyou Very Much
