Great addition to the area! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They’re dog friendly too so I call in at least once or twice a week for delicious coffee as I don’t need to tie up my pooch outside. They give her treats every time she visits. Food is good, lots of baked treats and the coffee is great too.Food: 5/5

The café is great, lots of space, staff is professional and friendly and the food and drinks are delicious. Very glad to have found this pet friendly spot nearby, finally a place where we can enjoy a nice break with our dogs. Strongly suggested and cannot wait to go there again.

Acorn Café is certainly an addition to Castleknock village, the fact that they are dog friendly is a plus. The café is cosy, food is great and the staff is lovely. Our dogs were very welcomed with treats and fresh water, we will be coming back regularly.

Lovely little cafe in castleknock village, we went as a family of three for a Saturday lunch and had the best time. The staff are so friendly and really encourage young children to be themselves, the tables are laid out well so there is a lot of space. Food was tasty, we had pancakes and the breakfast bunFood: 5/5

Very disappointing. Cafe has huge potential, great location, nice decor  parking available, sadly the food and coffee are huge let down. Club sandwich is sub standard, half a tomato, bacon not crisp and bread was soggy. As others mentioned no attention to presentation, no salad, crisps etc. Grossly overpriced.

Popped in for a sandwich this afternoon, and I can’t explain how bad it was. The chicken club sandwich was an absolute disgrace.  There was no side salad or crisps served with it and the sandwich had one slice of chicken and half tomato and a strip of bacon. Fair better cafes around the area and better value Such a pity. Won’t be back.

Really disappointing experience. Paid over the odds €20+ for a club sandwich, a croissant, coffee and water.. apart from the price the club sandwich was awful, on soggy bread, miserable filling, no sides like crisps or chips. I’ve had better fun in a morgue. Zero atmosphere.

I don't review places very often but stopped in here for impromptu lunch and it was amazing. Food was top class staff were incredible friendly and fun, went over and beyond. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
