Story

At Access we offer people with mental health support needs the opportunity to move towards mainstream training, education and employment. Participants will have the chance to experience all aspects of the project, and then specialise in their chosen area. Within your time at Access it’s an excellent way of gaining confidence and new skills needed to get back to work. Access training is run like a real job, which is a great way to get back into a work routine within a supported environment. Participants work 15 hours per week over three days and receive a top up allowance under permitted work regulations, which does not interfere with benefits.

AIMS
To promote the empowerment and well being of people with mental health support needs by helping them to access opportunities.

To provide individually tailored services within an agreed time-scale using a holistic approach.

To work with other service providers to develop a network of local mental health services.
