The customer service, care and consideration from the entire team at Abney Hall was second to none. They went above and beyond duty and made my mums birthday party a great experience for family and guests.  They were consistently willing to accommodate fresh and even unusual requests. Tanya and everyone else were really welcoming and supportive and even provided things they did not have to or could have charged us for.  I will definitely use this venue again and absolutely recommend this venue to anyone and everyone having a birthday, wedding, christening or any other family or civic celebration.

Went there for the flea market, the location was lovely and amazing experience overall!

Set in the heart of Stoke Newington Church Street, The Great Hall offers an impressive setting for a wedding reception. This venue has the capacity to accommodate up to 150 guests seating for weddings and private parties.

I visited here for the flea market. It's really good.

A solid flea market location, a lot of maps, art, some clothing, and vintage decorative pieces. Do wish there was more space for walking as often you felt squeezed and could not look at things properly. The amount of dogs at the place was a treat!

We recently had our wedding reception at Abney Hall and cannot speak highly enough of our experience. The place itself is beautiful and perfectly sized for a wedding of our proportions about 110 people. Tanya was a massive, massive help throughout and we really can't thank her enough for everything that she did. Her and her team really know what they're doing and knowing that we were working with people that diligent made us feel really confident and happy that our big day was going to be a success. Considering that we had to postpone our wedding by a year, there was no hassle whatsoever in moving dates which was  very welcome in what could otherwise have been a nervy situation.

Small to medium sized venue hosting a variety of interesting vintage markets on selected weekends. Do check before going. Convenient location on Stoke Newington Church Street and right by a bus stop. Close to interesting places to get something to eat or browse in.

Last Saturday we held our wedding reception at Abney Hall and found it to be the most wonderful venue. We first booked in June 2016 and have been planning with the help of Tanya, the event manager ever since then.  Tanya has been helpful, attentive and accommodating, allowing us in to see the hall and take measurements whenever convenient. Even though we took the bronze package, Tanya and her family's attitude and attentiveness was gold, really going the extra mile to work with us and make the hall smart and attractive.  It is a multi-use community hall and despite not being designed as a wedding venue, once we laid up the tables and put out the decorations, the light in the hall and the features of the interior just made it feel so special. It also has a really positive atmosphere which Tanya and her family contribute to.  We so appreciated the help that the family gave in setting up and clearing down afterwards. Would recommend to anyone.

Held party for group of children and Tanya was very easy to communicate with and flexible with changing times for start/ finish. We had a bouncy castle and lots of soft play equipment so there was quite of unpacking etc but Tanya was there at the start to show us where everything was kept. Great venue and would def recommend it for other children's parties
