Nature lovers will enjoy the park. There’s a wonderful mini waterfall. It’s well maintained and full of pleasant forest trees and beautiful ponds with geese, ducks and other wildlife animals. You could meet many squirrels as you walk through this park. There’s a good cafe inside the park. Plenty of great sculptures around it; frog, bear, owl, bird and a fox. There’s a free parking space inside the park which is accessible for park visitors. I would have given the park 5 stars if there restrooms and playgrounds somewhere in the park!
Every time I visited this place, I left feeling very happy and relaxed. I just love strolling about looking at the trees in the forest, enjoying the lakes and a little stream with it's waterfall, listening to the birds singing. The hall itself is a stunner. My dream is to see what's it like inside. One day I will!
Abney Hall Park is 213 acres of mature trees, grasslands, and wetlands. It became a Nature Reserve in June 2005 and features a waterfall, wooden sculptures, a cafe, and a free car park. The park is well-maintained, and it's clear that a lot of effort has gone into making it a pleasant space for visitors.nnOne thing to keep in mind is that the park is close to a busy motorway, so there is some background noise in certain areas. While this might not be ideal for those seeking complete tranquility, the park still offers plenty of natural beauty and is a great spot for a walk.
Lovely place for a walk. Very peaceful and clean space. Advice early or later hours so you don't have to much cars noise on the background.
Amazing place to walk the dog, relax next to the water or waterfall and have a hot drink from café
