Wycombe Abbey is the best school its rated 8 in the top fifty schools in the UK. Even though I have never been there I think its amazing. The website is great and it gives you lots of information on the school itself. I think its the best school ever and I really want to go there one day. It seems lots of fun.
From experience I would say it suits girls who are either exceptionally bright and would do very well in most other schools and girls who are comfortable treating the school as a business and themselves as clients.
During WW2, the USAAF 8th Air Force required a headquarters for its senior officers, and this girls' school became that place. In March 1942, on the first night of residence here, a very loud ringing sound could be heard emanating from the many rooms and dormitories throughout the wood panelled corridors of the school. It was discovered that by the bedside of every bed was a night bell alongside a notice which read: "If you need a mistress in the night, ring twice". Needless to say......
Exceptional girls school, keep up the amazing work! I really hope to be able to study here one day!
I attended this school for 5 years. Its an absoulutly amazing learning facilitty and i defenily recomend it!
